02. Types Of Counting

We need to be able to count and know how many people we actually have in them. Now this is one of the most important things which if the government were to do, it would greatly, greatly help us to have a better government family to live in a better government. Amen. Now 4 advantages of count or numbering the sheep that we have now in in our church, we teach our books and I'm teaching the book Mega church. That's all. Sosaki is teaching the book. That is how come I know that as a pastor of this local church, I never attained 5000 members attending. Although it was my dream for many years, I never attained it. How would I do when I never attained it? Because I've been We've been counting it for years. We count the people. In fact, I remember when Mosasulu came the first time, we gathered all the churches together and we were 1400. So I started reading the magazine and I saw that in the church they have written 10,000 people attend this church every Sunday and that church was in a car and I said wow I'm going to learn from this church. So I made an appointment and I went to that church 1 evening. When I got there I was looking to see the 10,000 people. So I select councillors. How many people are here? And I counted, I counted the chairs and there were 800 chairs. I counted 1-2 people. Very painful. It's very good to count with your eyes. Have you seen it after that? Because when you get, you wonder. A new mixed start again. Let's see. So I'm telling you, the foundation of all that we are doing is to know the true, true, true, true, true, true, true, true pictures of what we really have. And if we don't have the letters, we know what we don't have, so that we just know this is where we are. We don't have to deceive ourselves and nobody should deceive themselves. One day, one of our pastors, he went in there, He filled the forms. We have some forms that we filled. They filled attendance, the number of people that were there, this, that, and that. So what happened was that there was a visiting preacher who came for that to mention and then when the signature came, I asked how was the check that he mentioned. I said well how was the attendance then he told me so then I said let us check the attendance that was treating when you were there. So we went into the denominational office records and when we checked they are treating a figure with the pastor who came which is is not possible. So I remember that that pastor was telling lies. So one day I decided to send a spy to the church. So I sent my spy. My spy arrived in the church, the person thought that the spy was suggested passing to me. So the spy start there, counted all the people and everything, gave me the records. Then they filled their homes and so on. And yet again, completely different. So I thought one day I, I didn't tell if I didn't say anything to the past tomorrow, long time. But one day I thought the fact I said no, look at this, he said. It takes away if you have only 15 people in the same car with other boys and we have to come and help you. Rather than saying that there are 40 people or 50 people, then we rather think everything is OK. So let's move away from either not knowing or write it and say things which are not the case, which says that 10,000 people 5000 2003 it is not true. What you are is what you are, that's all. The 4th 1 is in the book. There are three disadvantages or dangers of counting #1 pressure to impress, line, and exaggerate. You know when you counted, you can't believe that it's true. There is cumulative count for the whole week. Do you see? Maybe they have several service plus common fees. When you add it cumulatively, you get 10,000. It's possible. Are you there? So brothers and sisters, Taiwan is our main county method and we need to know the number of people that are attending the church. What do you think the number of people that are attending the camp? OK, so #2 the number of people attending a weekly service. Amen. It's very important. Weekly service shows the strength of them inside of the church. Amen. Because Sunday worshippers, you cannot count on them for so much. Is it true or it is not true? So you must have a strong weekday service, and we must all be a weekday service. It's our culture in this church. Weekday service, so weekdays must be encouraged. We need to be at weekdays, so we must be concerned about the agenda of the weekdays. How many people are coming, how many people are not coming anymore? Amen #3. The number of people present at fellowship meetings. Amen #4 the number of people present are counts. What do you do? Is it so like, for instance, how many people this year's count, how many people last year's count? Amen. It's an important number for us in the church. Amen. Amen #5 The number of people at the convention. Wow. If you notice conventions, you will notice even changes in attendance. Amen. Sometimes somebody have never been there, but they are impressed with the person. After the person counts several times people are not as interested and as impressed. The number of people absent is an important number. If, for instance, we know the number of people who don't come to check during World Cup, it can help us to plan next time there's African cap or World Cup so that we will not plan any service during such an event. And I'll tell you something, you know, let us be careful about this World Cup because it cannot control the change. It should not be that we are having a camp. We have to close the camp because of the world camp. It's wrong. There's something wrong with that because you cannot repeat the camp, you cannot easily extend it, you cannot easily organize it. But the World Cup, you can't watch it again. You really want to watch it and ask your idea. You get full or you get silent. It's true. I don't think that it's it's a good thing that we have to prove a count because of the, well, count. I think that it's a wrong thing, that the thing has become more than God even.
