07. Anointing For Church Growth

Welcome to track #7 of break forth and become who you can become. OK, Church growth, we have 6 sections to go through and then we have finished the camp. In the first session we talk about the anointing. Now we are talking about the anointing for church growth in particular. OK, then we talk about the anointing for war. Now the first thing about it, church growth. And now when I talk about anointing for church growth specifically, I am sharing with you about the wisdom for church growth, understanding that will bring church growth, knowledge that will bring church growth, counsel that will bring church growth, and the fear of the Lord and the might that will bring church growth. OK, so the first thing is commitment. Commitment. Now anybody who is building a house and every time you lay 100 blocks, you are very happy and you say, wow, my house is coming up. The next morning when you come, seventy of those blocks are missing. Do you get it? Will your house grow bigger? It will not grow bigger. So I'm reading it from the mega church book to you. So you need therefore to fight and press for commitment. Commitment means that I belong to you. OK, so now everyone, you must have this mind. I need committed people and I must make them committed for life to what they are doing. Amen. So that is the one of the main. How we say. Wisdoms, knowledges, understandings, advices, revelations, strengths that you can give to yourself is to build up a gradually a team of people who see you as committed and who are committed to what you are doing now. The first step to being, to getting committed people is to be committed yourself. You see, things are spiritual. If spiritually I love you, even if I scream at you, you will sense deep down that actually I love you even though I'm shouting at you. Yeah, you sense it deep within that the man is just shouting. He's shouting. It will get finished just now and you move on to the next stage. Do you understand? So deep within, some of us are not committed. Some of us are experimenting. We are experimenting things. We don't have a mind deep down that is forever. We have a hope to be transferred from here. We have a mind to be away somewhere else. That mind does not help you to transmit the same. That thing is what is in you and it is transmitted spiritually to the people. I'm telling you because the first time that I saw this was when we started our church in Colegono and I took the decision not to travel to America and not to become a doctor in America. There was nothing different in the church. But from that time, the church began to grow because I was there. It's like I won't go anywhere again. I'll be here, we'll live with it, we'll die with it, whatever the case. Amen. Are you listening to me? So if you are with, let's say you are married to someone and you are hoping for the person to die. You see, it will have a fundamental, a fundamental affectation, if you like, on the marriage in so many invisible ways it will play out. You may not even know. That. The reason for this particular problem is because fundamentally you are hoping for the person to die so that you can be free from the person and marry someone else you feel is more ideal that had you met that person earlier, you would have made a better. Choice for your life. How many understand that what I'm saying is very true, that somehow it will have an effect on so many heated and enigmatic areas when you say something? Is enigmatic. It means that thing is mysterious and difficult to understand. So if I give an enigmatic message or an enigmatic speech, it means that the speech or the message is mysterious and difficult to understand. That's AOL Number what? What I have just said that is enigmatic. I'm using a word I'm not sure of Which AOL is it? Develop dark sayings and what? Personal Proverbs AOL 55 It is there. Are you there? Yes, mysterious problems which are difficult to understand in your marriage will be caused by your secret wishes for the extinction of this person, so that a replacement can come with a newer, more fresher, beautiful lady with upright breasts. Are you listening to me? How many agreed. I need to have some kind of enigmatic effect. Yeah. Affectation. When that is. That is one, your wish for the person to die. Then your second think that will have a great effect is a constant thought that you made a fundamental mistake. You see, if you are in a mission, you understand and you are somewhere, and then always at the back of your mind is your mind that you've made a mistake. Look how many will agree that it will have some enigmatic affectations. See, I'm talking about you, the person being committed. It's not before we say, we always say the people should should be committed. But you see these are underlying tunnels, tunnels that are under you understand tunnels that are under that holds for undermining. Whatever thing you are standing on is not strong because deep within you want a thing to end. Deep within there is a mind and a mentality that I have made a fundamental mistake. If only I can have a correction of this mistake. Yes. I know what I'm talking about. How many will agree that these things will destabilize all your your marriage? You don't even understand the problem that you have when you look at it and your mind is that you, you now you will go soon. You will go soon. You wait and see. One day I sent a letter to somebody, asked him about his senior pastor, and he told me that he had left his senior pastor and he was somewhere there. So later I call, I sent a person another. Later I was corresponding with the person, then the. Person sent me and I said, look, this is my former senior pastor. All that I can say, all that like I said, but by the end of this year something will happen. That that that's what he said to me. By the end of this year, something will happen. I'll give by prophetic, prophetically, I know by the end of this year something will happen. But. You see those things, they are not unusual. One day I met a certain pasta and he said to me. For years the Preya warriors have prayed about my wife. This year something will happen. You see, you may never understand the enigmatic problems that are in that marriage because fundamentally, the person has even faith, even prayer warriors and prophetic insights and revelation that his spouse would die so that he can move on in his life. Obviously that marriage will not work comfortably and will not work easily. It's doomed to have confusion upon confusion upon whether in the red shirt. Stand up right there. Yeah. You, you, you. It will be always. Yeah. Let me tell you me if I have a friendship, my mind is that it is for life. You cannot just be in the church without commitment. There are 4 levels of commitment #1 what Fair weather #2 situational #3 They'll be looking at you like that's. We hope their mouth will open like this. It's. True. Are you listening to me? Yeah, that's why I said why I see my, my, my brother who has gone to NT, you see that he has made-up his. Mind to be a missionary? So I've also made-up my mami. Once I am alive, I have this. Friend, I have to. I have to commit myself to him, to the end, to the NNT must flow, it must work. It has to work. It has to work and mentally it has to work fully. We cannot leave them. We will not, we will never leave them. We will never leave them. And and you see that those people in the system, they know even last year you, you see, like Pastor Silas was telling me today, he said, Bishop, is it the way you are even facing and talking? It's as if you are rebuking us or you are saying something, but meanwhile you are also helping us from behind. Silas, is it not true? Yeah, yeah. Because last year I came screen I said we are not building our churches since last year all your churches have been roof built and all of that see because you know the person is committed and we are we are shouting at you going because mature and independent. But the state that you said that the person who is passing through a back route to try to help his children. Would you not help your children that you are giving them? Would you not help them? Would you not help? Your children that you are giving. So my friend, we want to test to just. Give us 4 points on commitment. It's not going to work that way. Commitment is not going to come went deep down there is that sort of mind see that's why I said that all my relationships I see it as one and for the last to the end it will never change Suppose when I look. At people that have been close and they go away. That's what even hurts me, that they don't see it as forever, but I see it as forever. But they see it. It was just for this and that. At least that's not how I am. Yeah. Now do you see that thing must be within you. It's not something you can teach, is it? In AOL? Yeah, say them, AOL #1. Forces convince people to believe in you and how to rally people around you. Be prepared for a long fight. It's AOL #1. But there's 57 as well. Convince people to make great great sacrifices or have similar points. How do you think you can convince people to make great sacrifices? You make the great sacrifice yourself. Are you listening to me? So the first thing is you must have non mobile members. Members that are non mobile, they themselves must see, you understand? Yeah. But you see, they don't feel it so much. Some of us, you get it. It's a deep down fundamental luck, Amen. So fight for commitment and I believe you're going to have committed members. Amen. OK, Now fair weather commitments, that's number one. Number two, situational friendship, commitment. Do you know all these things? There are people who are committed by the situation, Amen and non situational friendship. Amen #3 non situational friendship. That is the situation change, but you are still friends. And the last is marital commitment. Isn't it where you are? It's like you are married. Marriage. You see, marriage, even the best says that we are married to Christ. You know, marriage is a permanent commitment. That is what is unique about marriage. Let's go through marriage. What? What's different about marriage and other relationships? Don't we have sex with other people who are not we are not married to? I mean, have we not had sex with other people we are not married to? Not that it can happen. I say, have we not had sex with other people that we are not married to? Is that like enigmatic problem statement? It's an enigmatic. Has somebody served you food before? Have you served somebody food before? Have you stayed in the same house with somebody before? Have you slept in the same bed with somebody before who is not married to you? Yeah, both male and female. Have you used the same toilet together with somebody who who is not married to you? What have you not done financial arrangements with people before whom we are not married to? Yeah. So what is left of the marriage? Yeah, a certain marriage because people have boyfriends again, they live together. Whatever all those things, it is the IT is for life forever. Then we sign. That's what makes it marriage. So is the level of commitment. That is what the Western world are moving away from. So As for the sex they are having, the relationships they are having, but the permanent type mindset, that's what they are discarding. They understand we want to live together, but we do not want that permanent commitment again. When you get a bit too fat, I will not marry you again. When you change it this way, I will not marry again. I always want somebody like this. I want this, I want this out. Your potbelly is too much. I don't know. I need a young man with strength, somebody who can give me energetic sexual rompages. I need him to be romping. I need a young man a lot. Of ladies with. Clothes and other They get young, young boys, teenagers and others to give them rompages. So what it is that introduces the difference is what the level of commitment, Amen. So have this kind of mind, have this permanent mind. Do you understand? And I believe that it's going to introduce to the people. Tell them you. Have to be with me. I'll be with you forever. You to stay with me forever. Tell them Ng is the best town in the world. Why would you want to move to Havasini or even Takradi? What is the use of going out of of western region? Is it Pastor Patrick in the north? Is there for life it's there for life. So you see it affects everything commitment, membership this this, this that because the person is there, it's like I'm there forever. It's not like he's looking to, I mean, popping the Bishop when and you see when people. Want to be transferred. You feel it when they see you know you feel it. He wants us to say that he should come to Accra to take over the Adenta Chet or to take over the Labadi Chet or one of these things. You know you. Can't even feel it. But when we see Patrick, we don't we don't have that feeling that non verbal aspect is not spoken. It's not. It's not communicated. Are you there? Yeah. So, brothers and sisters, let us have this permanent and let's tell our members it's forever. Forever. When you go, you come here forever. Amen. What do you think? It's powerful. OK, so it's a, it's a powerful revelation to help you. Now the next one is you have to develop devoted members, people that are devoted. Sit down guys. It's good to see all of you guys, you know, develop devoted members. Key #1 be a devoted pastor yourself, OK #2 say positive things about the church you see. And this is a message. You can preach this message to your. Church. Amen. Say positive and great things about your church. Don't wait for the church. To be great before you say great things about it. Say great things about the church while the church is developing. Amen. That is why we started calling Lighthouse the mega church. Long, long, long, long time ago. Yeah. Mega church. The mega church. It's a mega church. That's it. And it's working. So say it about your church. Talk about your church. So wow A. Brother over there in a, in a white shirt. Stand up. Yeah, I'm pointing at. Of this church, and you see that suddenly life is coming to the church. Because what you say, if nobody is saying who are, you still have to say I am. So you have to say positive things about the church which you are the pastor of, link the church to great things. So as I stand. Here it always reminds me of the kodesh. You have to say something like that. In the classroom, it reminds me of the codec because this is how it began. And I see the same things I see. I see certain things over here. That's why every time I stand in front of you, there is a setting jaw. You don't have to come and stand in front of the church. I say most of you didn't come to church today. All the back is empty. All this side is empty. Where are the chest You see? What are you doing to the church? You are spoiling the church before you started preaching, killing me. You're killing us. You're killing the church with. His finger and filling my life with his words and killing me. Lovely with his song. Killing me. Lovely with his song. Tearing my whole life with his words. With your message that your message, those announcements are killing the church. It is you Cameroonians, you Cameroonians. It is because of something that I'm here. It's because of something that I'm here. I didn't. I didn't know anybody in Cameroon. Its because of something that I'm here. Its only because of something that I'm here. Yeah. Its because of something that I'm here. I didn't know anybody here. My life, I wouldn't have come here. I wouldn't have come here. Its because of something, because of the mercy of God. You are doing what you are. You are doing what? Rubbing my pain with this finger and filling my life with this word and killing me subtly with this song. Killing me subtly with his song, Tearing my whole life with his words, Killing me suddenly. #3 Say positive things about the pastors. Talk about your pastors in a good way so that everybody will see them as great people. Even at this camp, since I've been at this camp, I'm saying positive things about the two people that God has given me as associates since I started the church. It's not even something that is effortless. You are studying said that all these snakes in the church, I have all these snakes. God will clear them out this year. By December 2009, there will be no snake left on the front floor again. Prayer warriors are praying something will happen this year. If you cannot see something good in the people that God is giving to you, me, if I was them, I wouldn't like to stay with you anyway. Look, everybody has a defect. Everybody has come with some problem yourself. Can you not see your own? You came with yours. But everybody can do something great for you. Isn't that fantastic? Yeah. What do you think? Huh. So you got to start saying positive things about the leaders, the people mean. When you hear me talking about the people that are working, you think that I'm in love with them and I am in love with them. You maybe think that I'm in love in another way because I and they know and I like them. I like them, I believe in them. I don't like you. I want to work with you. I like them genuinely. Oh, you'll be there with the people that you don't like. I'm here with people that I like. So you are with sticks, Vipers, God will deal with them this year. Let me tell you something, you must develop a liking. Do you understand? And if you don't like the person that is with you or somebody has been transferred to you. Request. That the person should be taken away because every president chooses his cabinet. So if somebody has been chosen for you, so I don't like this person then. Charlie, I can't stay with this person. Yeah, return to sender, return to sender. And when you return to sender, you find your own. Oh, you don't get what I'm saying? Find your own person and make create a team. Yeah, find a wife, find a helper, find more people, bring them, work with them. What do you think? Is it true or it's not true #4 Say good things about your church members. You see, when we say say good things, saying good things will not be natural if you don't like them. But if you like them, you naturally you say, oh, this person does it, this person. Meanwhile the person has problems though, but you can see something good. What I want to ask is how come you can't see good things? It's my big question today. How come you can't see good things in people? You always see the bad. When the cup is half full, you say it's half empty, half full. You always your your eyes are trained on the negative aspects of the people see that doesn't allow people to come around you and do well, yeah, everybody can do something. Everybody can do something. So say good things, see the good things, then you say them. When I say good person will feel too big, everybody sure I'll be allowed to. Feel a little big once in a while, but you feel big. So they will feel too big, they will feel too great. They will get an elevated impression of themselves. Pride will enter into them. Satan will deceive them. They will think they are like me. They will, they will, they will challenge me for my position. You see, all those are secretly said in your heart. That's why you don't say good things. So when I say this in the people who people who realize that he is better, he's better preacher than me. No. Do you get it? Is it in AOL? Say good things about your pastors. Next one, encourage employers to hire church members. What do you think encourage employers to do what to hire church members? When you have come as a pastor, you should want your members to be employed. Amen. And then encourage members to apply for work from within the church family we had in the church. What do we call that thing when we employment something? Membership assistance? Assisting the membership find jobs. We have one guy who used to be in our church. I mean, he's been our main member. His daughter was like this and his daughter has grown up. He's in the youth church and all that. Today, recently, I heard that the guy has gone to royal house. I couldn't even believe it because they have been in the church for so long. They said that the wife of that pastor of that church, the wife of the pastor of the church or the pastor of the church has got him a job. He has not been the Chester. He has not been able to. He has got a job with either this government or whatever to the person and he. Has left the church. I was shocked. I see employment greatly effects membership. Employment greatly effects membership. When you have people that are stable in the country, you have more members. So in London, if you if, if the Ghanaians are not stable, this new immigration laws to arrest people if you if it does not stabilize or if that we are not able to overcome. It you will notice a decline in the UK church churches and the European churches because it would drive out the people and and the system. They are creating more laws that are anti foreigners you see to make it difficult. For foreigners to stay and it will eventually affect the church membership, the income, everything, because employment is directly connected to the membership livelihood. And therefore the members of the church. So in your town, if there is no work in your town, that is where you need 10 keys to become an entrepreneur. How many want these 10 keys? #7 Encourage church members to marry each other. Are these not powerful keys to make devoted members number one AOL #1? 122. AOL 122 What does he say? Develop the art of keeping people together. Develop the art of keeping people together. It's all in the thing. So when you don't develop the art of keeping people together through employment, through my SO, sometimes people say as if we are connecting people to get married. No, it's part of our work. It's part of my work. I can't be walking around you. You are not married. I'm interested in that thing. It must come on and the marriage must work. I will be. Injecting it out forever. I'll be giving injections, vitamins, minerals, everything for the thing to work. You'll be sitting down alone. What are you, remember? What are you doing? You are killing the teen softly. It will die slowly. So you see those of us who are in towns where there's no job, towns where there is no work, you are going to need certain skills because anytime you meet a superior. Enemy. Or. You encounter a situation in which you are in a disadvantage, or you enter a battle in which you find yourself in what we call a stalemate. You know, as a stalemate in which neither you nor you are winning. You need. An orthodox methods and superior strategies in order to be able to break the stalemate or come out of that disadvantageous situation or break out against a superior and greater enemy who is stronger than you. Yeah. Are you listening to me? Yeah. So in our African countries where they have emphasized just on education, but you see education and educating people alone. Does not improve poverty. Education, just educating people has not historically has not changed the fortunes of a country. Educating people only increases the supply of educated people. But you need to increase the supply of educated people as well as the demand for educated people. So unless you combine creating the supply of educated people with creating a demand for educated people with certain jobs and so on, education does not have the effect of reducing poverty in the country. In the end, countries which emphasize on education, the supply of educated people but not on the demand, end up exporting human beings and then the the primary. Export becomes the human force which they have educated but did not correspondingly create the demand and the need for people who have done sociology, statistics, this, this, that and whatever. Examples are Korea in recent times, after their war, they've created the supply of educated people and created jobs living what we call the laissez faire. You know it's laissez faire. Check it. It is a situation in which the government withdraws itself actively from being involved in business and other things. Any lesser fair? Attitude cannot create jobs and the government has to help so. If we are wanting our people to have jobs in the places that they are, we are going to have to take an active role, you know, and you yourself, you have to have a very bright mind. Otherwise they will just perish in that town because this is one of the conditions of Africa and many of them there's no jobs even. Where they have emphasized on education, they have not emphasized on creating the job for the people. So that educated people are there. They have nothing to do and that's why you have a situation. There's a lot of doctors, a lot of this like India, they have a lot of doctors. When our one time we wanted to send somebody, they say we have no need of doctors here. We have more than enough doctors. Are you listening to me? Yeah. So, brothers and sisters, you, you employment of your members is key to the survival of your church. The improvement of the growth of your church, the financial stability of your church is connected directly to the employment that your members can have where you are. And you must be employed in and around where you are. And it must concern you greatly that members should be employed. They should be married, they should stay there, they should live there. They should prosper. They, their marriages should work. They should have cars and houses. It's the concern of the pastor. If it's not your concern, your church will not grow. Anybody that I've passed that, I'm concerned about this, this, this, this, this, this 1234 always standard. Must marry. You must. I don't take interest in people's marriages usual unless they are pastors, because pastors that I'm pastoring. So the person is. I'm interested in anything that has to do with the person, including the the living, the breathing that the person is alive. Are you listening to me? So you'll be there and say you are just pretty spiritual from Ezekiel, the last time you are from Deuteronomy, next time you are giving kisses and other blessings. Meanwhile, the people don't have jobs and you are wondering why the. Church is not growing. Perhaps God could give you wisdom that could stabilize the people over there. When the Bible says think all things work together. There are a lot of things that work at the same time. It's not just anointing, anointing, anointing, anointing, yes, but that anointing works when other things also work. So if they start to say. All foreigners out. Nobody can say. Nobody can. You see, it's not going to help so. If you are in half Assini, Axim, all those western towns, oil is coming there. You have to be bright interest, exciting. Yeah. And sometimes we even have to take some of our members through school. I can point to you pastors who are in full time ministry that we pay their school fees. We took them, they became this, they became this, they pay. I took them through school, prepared that they did whatever causes and brought them when they finished then and they said. We only want to stay with you. Yeah. Are you listening to me? Yeah. Even today we are paying school fees for people in certain countries. We are creating the demand and the supply of educated people. Are you listening to me? So I'm sharing with you this key principle. They are in the books #8 is what? Encourage members to socialize and fraternize. Amen. Socialize means that in the non spiritual aspect of the church, the pastor has his invisible hand. The parties in the church, the outdoors in the church, the weddings in the church, the birthday parties in the church, the other aspect which are not religious or they are not in the church. The pastor's invisible hand is there. Laying connections and doing all kinds of things is also involved. And he's also there. It's also there. Encourage the members to socialize. Yeah, If I was a pastor, I'll say, ah, why? Why? Your friend must be in the church. Your checkbook, Meg of Honor, must be in the church. Your friend must be. When you have your birthday party, all the people must be from the church. That's what keeps them together because after you finish the church, everybody is moving to social life. So a pastor, you can't just let us say my job is over on Sunday, the job is starts to continue on Monday. Are the people getting work? To go to in that same town in the evening. Are they around? When they are socializing and they are making friends, is it the same lighthouse members that they are friends with all this one is friends with somebody in Witness Chapel. This one is friend with the Muslim. This one is a friend with Presby Chale. Encourage the members to socialize. You may think that in some way, but that is the way. Chale, if you like, be there, be there, be joking with these things. You'll see that all your members are finished. They should marry themselves. No one is going to when somebody is going to marry from another church, it should be as if he's going to marry an unbeliever the way you would Jiga in the church. Actually, why couldn't you see one in our church, the same thing. We have one of these. So we have one of these type of person. I've got a very fat, we have a very fat one. We have a slim one. We have a fair one. We have all colors international. We have all edges. Why? What are you going? Outside to get one, you have to be what, As if they are marrying unbelievers? Yeah. You don't have to flag matters, OK. It's also a Christian brother. No, no, no, no, no. All your members will get finished through marriage, through work. So I've got a job at this time. I'm going, bye, bye. Oh, I've got somebody else now. I'm going. Bye, bye. Every day you'll be hearing. Bye, bye, bye. Bye, bye, bye, bye, bye. The course has come for me. Assemblies has come for me.
