Welcome to track #9 of lay power. You see that vision I was telling you that Papa Hagen the the daughter came. They were drinking a glass of milk. Good night prayer. He said that the vision he had actually was consent. That man's wife, the man whom he was, he was preaching, I think was that man's wife. And the man's wife had left him. Now, in the vision this man was in, in real life, the man was about to marry again. His wife had left him and had gone to become a singer in a nightclub after 20 years of marriage. When I say we are ordinary, we have ordinary problems. She had gone to become a singer in a nightclub. Now in the vision, in the vision, the Lord told Kenneth Higgin, he said, tell my friend that he should do this or that, whatever he told him, tell my friend, my friend. Then in the book he wrote it, he said God referred to him as my friend, his friend. He said Jesus referred to him as my friend. The one whose wife has left is marrying somebody else. He said, tell my friend Charlie, you may never know the secret relationship that somebody has with God. So as you start to take on the president and he was excommunicated from his denomination. Yeah, that pastor was excommunicated because his wife, his wife left him and went to became a singer real life, you see. And and, and. And when the woman heard that he was going to marry again, she wanted to make trouble for him. She was coming to cause a lot of problem. And it was an evil spirit. So in the vision, Papa Higgins saw the woman and she saw an evil spirit behind. And the law to rebuke the spirit is harassing the man's ministry, rebuke the demon. So he in the vision, he had to rebuke the demon that was using the woman to harass. So the harassment that he was even getting from his wife was an evil spirit and the Lord made him rebuke. He said I can rebuke you. Rebuke that spirit. You are here on earth. Are you understanding what I'm saying? The point I'm trying to make from this story is that God called him or Jesus called him. My friend, watch out to watch out. When you see somebody on television, you don't understand what the person is doing. Change to CNN, change an animal, find a lion, some other animals, something to watch. When you criticize, lie or nothing will happen to you. But when you criticize pastors, something bad can happen to you. National Geographic, you never, you can never receive any case from that place. Are you there #4? It means to be separated for God's purpose. To be called by God means to be separated. Now that's number four, isn't it? OK, your calling means you have been separated. Now the word separate is the word Badal. Badal. And it means to distinguish and make a difference between you and others. Wow. To make a difference between you and others. Is it not a blessing our God has distinguished you from others even though you were the least in your family? The Greek word separate is the word aphoriso. Aphoriso APHORI 0 which also means to keep apart two or more people of things by a boundary. So when God calls you, he's keeping you apart from others, Amen. He has put a boundary between you and others, Amen. Deuteronomy chapter 10 verse 8, Amen. And the Lord separated the tribe of Levi to bear the ark of the Covenant. It's separation as you are here. Have you not been separated from Accra? God is separating you and God is trying to separate you and talk to you and use you. Bible says in Deuteronomy 32 when the most high divided the nations, the inheritance when he separated the sons of Adam. Amen. First Chronicles 23 verse 13 the sons of Imran, Aaron and Moses. Aaron was separated that he should sanctify the most holy things and his sons forever. He was separated. Romans chapter one verse one Paul a servant of Jesus Christ called to be an apostle and separated unto the gospel of God. To be called is to be put aside. God wants to put you aside and use you in his church, to use you in the church. Amen. That's why in Galatians chapter one verse 15, he says, But when he pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb and called me by his grace, Hallelujah. That's why in Acts chapter 13 verse 2, the Bible says as they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Ghost said separate me Barnabas and soul for the work whereunto I have called them Amen. Wow, separate me, separate me, Amen. One day there was a certain one of our pastors. He was a lay pastor. I think he was a pastor in Tamil somewhere there, and I called him and I sent him to the Baltar region to go and be a missionary, you know. Then later on he came to me and he said, you know, that as he was going on the journey, he saw. He came to a place where they were selling these pots. Have you seen these colored pots? Colorful. Yeah. He saw a lot of them and then he saw somebody came to pass by, I think. I don't know whether he stopped himself. Somebody also passed by and saw the pots and then moved on. And as he looked at the pots, God spoke to him and showed him that all these pots will always be there in the sun and in the rain unless somebody comes and choose this one and said this one, this one out. I like this one and separates it from the rest, which are left in the sun, left in the rain for the dust, for rats, cats, snakes and other things to do whatever they want, so to be called, is to be taken out of a group that are struggling in the sunshine and be taken into somebody's car. And you'll be wiped and washed and put in a house. Maybe there wouldn't be an air conditioner in that room with flowers and you'll be put in a nice important place. That's what it means to be called. Oh, and there's the greatest thing that a person can have is to be called. He just takes you out. You were in the on the Soda Copper Road. Now you are in the profits lounge. Famous ministers, people come from different countries and they they look at you and admire you and say what a beautiful app. Meanwhile, you were on the Soda Copper Rd. so that Copper Rd. You were there and your friends are still there. Some have been there for yet nobody has ever chosen them and separated from the others. This is not powerful #5 to be called is to be sent out properly. To be called by God means to be sent out. There is a difference between someone who was sent and someone who just went. God sending you means he is dispatching you on a journey to serve Him or to get something from Him. Amen. God is sending you to fetch many souls from the grips of the devil. Now the word sent is the word shalak. Shalak, which means to send somebody away, you see, in a certain sense be called by God is to be sent away. You never become anything unless you are sent away. So sometimes when you are sent away, don't be sad. It's rather trying to find what is your great gift and calling by sending you away. Pastor Richard, has he not been a blessing to you? He used to work in our office. He used to work in office in Accra. He was one of the first people to work in the church office, in chambers before we had even the cathedral. He was he used to sit in the office there. I remember we call him Brother Mighty. Yeah. And one day I came myself. Ah, look, we can you go to London. Why? Why not? And he went. So to be sent away is a blessing. So when the day comes when you are sent away, don't say I want to be in this department. No. So now you have to be sent away from that department before we will see your gift. It was a Richard has stayed with us in Ghana. I don't think we would have seen his gifts. I don't think so. OK, OK, OK, let's go on quickly. There was a man sent from God whose name was John. Is it not fantastic? There was a man sent from God whose name was John. Jesus said in John 434, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me. May you be sent by the Lord. He has sent me to heal the broken hearted. Wow. Say not I am a child Jeremiah, for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee. Amen. Number six, to be called means to receive grace. Grace. The word for grace is Chen, which means graciousness, kindness, receiving favor, or becoming precious. To be called is to become precious. Amen. How many are so happy that God wants you to be precious? Hey, somebody like you and somebody like me, Amen. God is showing you kindness. The word for grace is charis, which speaks of the divine influence upon your heart. It's only when God has a divine influence on your heart that you begin to even understand this idea of being called Amen. Luke 2 verse 40. And the child grew and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom, and the grace of God was upon him. Grace of God. Is it not powerful? And the Word was made flesh, and he dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten Father, full of grace and truth. Can you sing that song, John? The moon and power. It's in tree, but it's a nice song. Try try a little kindness. Those of you don't understand tree. I also don't understand it, but it is John chapter one that is being quoted. Isn't isn't that powerful? The word was made flesh and dwelled among us. We beheld his glory full of grace and truth. OK, just flow. Wherever you get to, you stop. The light shines in the. Darkness. The word was there. The word was God when was gone. Do you want to? Sing it. Next. I'm going to try. I'm just a Lycos singer. Lycos, Lycos. Lycos. OK. No. The. And you know. None. Nahi. Nishiris, Suman in his sword. Yes, sweet Nimuna power now. Quan in your knee, behind Suman in his sword. NASA na na na. Oh. NA. #7 Receiving a ministry from God to be called means to receive a ministry from the Lord. Amen. To receive a ministry from who? From the Lord, Amen. Now, the word for that is the word yad, Hebrew yad. Sometimes you should give your child a name, a yard. And it means service in the temple. Yeah, service in the temple. It's a powerful name. Service in the temple. I mean, how many would not like your child to be service in the temple, to serve in the temple, Even though you yourself would not like to be full time, at least you, you would like your child to be serviced in the temple. Forgive, cleanse us, O Lord Yard, yard. And you can also be changing some of your names, some of your name that the meaning is not good. 1000 Gods bosom PIM. I'm not saying it's not a good name. Please I beg you. But if it's a bad meaning you need to assess the name 1000 gods Abu Sumassi is what under the gods. So when your name is Reverend Abu Sumassi, the reverend under the God and under accepting God. I came in. I came to fight. OK, You can use it to fight Satan. Please don't take me up. If you are called, I beg you. It's a good name. It's a good name for you. So be with it. Say to Archipos, take heed to the ministry which thou has received in the Lord. That's the yacht. You have received the service in the temple. 1st Corinthians 16, verse 15. I beseech you, brethren, you know the House of Stefanos, and it's the first fruits of a care, and they have addicted themselves to the service, the ministry of the Saints. And 2nd Corinthians 518 that he has given to us the ministry of reconciliation #8 to be called means to receive a talent from God. You without talent and gifts, you are receiving a talent. Amen. And the word for talent is Kikka. It's also another name. We call it a Kikka, KIKKAR Kikka and it means a round loaf, a muscle, a piece or a large round coin. When you receive a talent from the Lord, you have received a large round coin. Isn't that powerful, something tangible which you can use to serve the Lord? Amen. So a talent is like an ability, a gift. Sometimes it's even. Your wealth is in that talent. When you start to work for God, you'll be surprised that doors will open up that will make you a wealthy person. The Greek word for talent is talent on. Talent on You can also change your name to Talenton and it speaks of a weight used for a balance. It signifies something tangible. You can change your name to John Talenton. John Talenton. That means that John the Gifted 1. John the brother with the talent John Talenton. Talenton spelled TLTALANTON talenton Kicka is a round coin. When God has called you, has given you a kicka. So to tomorrow when you see someone say I'm going to give you a kicka to go and buy some units. Kicka #9 to be called means to receive a gift from God and and OK, but receiving a talent is you find that story in Matthew 25. The Kingdom of heaven is like a man travelling to a far country. He called his own servants and delivered unto them his goods. And to 1 he gave 5 talents, another two he gave 5 talent tons, 2 talent tons and one talent ton according to his several ability Amen. The next one receiving a gift from God, Amen. Romans chapter one verse 11 is for I long to see you that I may impart you some spiritual gifts. How many of you are bereft of gifts and you need some gifts? So God calls you and he gives you some few gifts. Romans 12/6 having gifts differing according to the grace 1st Corinthians 14 desire spiritual gifts. First Timothy 4 neglect not the gift that is indeed and second Timothy chapter one verse 6 stir up the gifts of God. So God gives gifts to giftless people, to commonness, to ordinary people, to regular men. He gives them gifts Hallelujah. And the Hebrew word for gift is matan. You can change your name to Matan. Call yourself Gloria Matan and call yourself Joyce Matan. You can call yourself Lucy Matan, which means a gift, which is the Hebrew word for presents. When God gives you a present, He gives you a matan MATTN. So you tell somebody I am bringing you a matan on your birthday. Wow. And the Greek word for gift is charisma, that one a lot of people call their children carriers, but I'm giving you new revelation, Kikata, Lanton, Matan, I mean other powerful names. Begin to start using them so that you know, people will know that you are. Your child is unique, but you yourself are unique. Receiving an office is the next meaning of to be called. So #1 it means what to be called is what to be someone distinctly to be called out by name, To be called out by name #2 it means what and. No one can work, so come on, get your twos and work while you have the lie. Back on while you have the lie, when life comes, when no one can work. So come on, get your tools and work while you have the night. It's come, I come while you have the night. Oh come on, get your tools. And. Work while you have the night. The night is gone, the day's come. Oh, get up your loins, It's time to work. Oh, oh, we're gone While you have the light and the fight on. While you have the grace, not long from now, light will be gone. Grace will be gone. Fight on while you have the grace. Fight on while you have the grace. Fight on while you have the grace. Oh come on, get your twos. And why do you have the light? Fight on while you have the grace. Fight on while you have the grace. Fight on while you have the grace. Oh, come on, get. Go to that world. Why do you have the night? The night is on. The day's come. Oh, get out of your lights. It's time to work. Work on while you have the light. Oh, and fight on while you have the grace gone. Long from now, lights will be gone. Grace will be gone. Work on why do you have the light? Oh welcome. Why do you have the light when I come when no one can work. So come on, get your twos and work Why do you have the light and fight on Why do you have the grace? Come on and fight on, Why do you have the grace? Come on and fight on. Why do you have the grace? Oh come on, get your twos. And why do you have a knight? Oh come on, get your twos and why do you have a knight? Oh come on, get your twos and over. Why do you have a light? All right #10 receiving an office, Receiving an office to be called means to have received an office. Many of us don't have offices through the work of God. You have an office in Jesus name Amen. The Hebrew word for office is mamad. It means a position or an office which you have received. The Greek word is praxis. PRAXIS, which refers to a function of your practice. Amen. Exodus 29, verse one. The Bible says, And this is the thing that thou shalt do unto them, to hallow them, to minister unto me in the priests office. Are you there Samuel the Seer in First Chronicles Chapter 9 verse 22 Bible says, and whom David and Samuel the sea and did ordain in their set office, First Chronicles chapter 23 verse 28, because their office was to wait on the sons of Aaron Amen. And Romans 11 verse 13, Paul said, I magnify my office, Amen. And in Romans 12 verse 4, Paul said for us we have many members in one body, all members have not the same office, Amen. First Timothy chapter 3, verse 10. He says let these also first be proved, then let them use the office of a Deacon being found blameless, Amen. Are you excited about being called by the Lord? Hallelujah. It is a blessing to be called by the Lord. Amen. Chapter 8. Yeah. I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm just, I'm going to end this book now that I'm just going to give you one more chapter and then I'll leave the rest. You can get the book yourself. Inspired. Amen. Because I want to move on to some other things. Amen. Have the real light come back. The real light hasn't come back. How will we know? Yes, because the people at the back, I don't think they will hear very well with the generator. OK, lights, when you come, tell us. OK, quickly. A Sinner like you has received an Office message. I could have been dead sleeping in my grave, but God bless me, see another day. And even when I did wrong, he was still there. I'm so glad that God still hears a sin of spread. I'm so glad that God still hears a sin of spread. I walked to the church. Yeah, on a Sunday morning, I stood outside contemplating if I should walk through the dark. You see, a lot of folks knew me from way back then. People hold into all those fasting, but I know and I've seen. I come shut off his glory. Yeah. But I'm glad that I'm here to tell the story. Hey, that I could have been there sleeping in my grave. But God blessed me to see another day. Another day. And even when I did wrong, he was still there. Oh yeah. And so that of God still hears a sinners prayer. And so that of God still hears a sinners prayer. Oh, he that is without sin, let him cast the first stone. There ain't nobody above him but the man sitting on the throne. Now it's about time for us to stop judging one another. Stop acting holy Adam thou and start lifting up your brother 'cause I know sin and come short of is the lorry air. But I'm loud that I'm here to tell the full rain that I could have been dead sleeping in my rain, in my dark dark dark grave. God bless me to see another day, just one more day, and even when I did. Wrong. He was still there. Yeah, Yeah. I'm so glad that God still hears a Sinner spread. I'm so glad that God still hears a Sinner spread. Now let me pray. Let me pray. Our Father, we chart in heaven, hallowed be thy name, Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Now give us this day our daily breath, and forgive us our dead, as we forgive our dead times. And lead us, not lead us. Oh yeah, yeah. I'm so glad. I'm so glad God still here's a sins prayer. Anybody glad? I'm so glad, so, so glad. I'm so glad. I'm so glad God still here's a sins prayer. Hallelujah. Now the next one is God is monitoring your works. Amen. From now I want you to be conscious of the fact that God is monitoring your works. In Revelations, the book of Revelations, there are and there is another set of letters written to another set of churches because we all think that it is just Ephesians, Colossians, Romans. Those are the letters to the churches. But in the Book of Revelation there are seven more letters. And in those seven letters God tells each and every single church the same thing. He tells them different things. But there's one thing which is common to each letter, and it's usually at the beginning of the letter. And in that point he says, I know your works, I know your works. So my friend, God is looking at your works. Amen. God is looking at the works you are doing for him. OK? So if you have a chance to play the keyboard for him, don't hold back because you'll be surprised that that plane of the keyboard is part of the works of God or one of the only things that you could ever do for the Lord in your time. Are you listening to me? So God is monitoring your works. So let us go through each and every single one of the churches very briefly. Revelations, chapter 2, verse #1 It says in unto the Angel of the Church of Ephesus, I know thy wax, Amen. Now I know thy wax, thy labor, thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil, and thou how thou has tried them, which say they are apostles, and I'm not, and has found them liars, and has born, and has patience, and for my namesake has laboured and has not fainted. Amen. God is saying, I know your works, you know, I know. He knows exactly what your contribution is. And that is the place you have to be concerned about that God knows your works. Now, He did not say I know thy BMW or I know thy beds, or I know thy house. I know thy works. That's what God knows. That's what God is looking at. And the fact that he tells each and every single one of them the same thing means that that is what He is looking at now. Everybody looks at different things. Sometimes somebody would tell you, did you see that girl, the one with the brakes? I don't even know what brakes are. Or did you see the one with the puppy dough? I don't. I know what a puppy dough is. I think that's an old style. Or do you see the one with the wig? The wig, we cannot tell if it's a good wig. If it's not a good wig, it's like a hat. We can see that it's a wig. But you see, the ladies are the one who was wearing that green dress, the one who was wearing that mustard, whatever that. And they mentioned colors, which we don't know what is mustard, turquoise, and what burgundy. I mean, instead of saying red, blue, yellow or white, I mean colors that we know those civil master we are. We are like us, so we don't know. But you see that the woman's eye is trained on certain things depending on who you are, isn't it? And we, the brothers, may not even notice that. The one who's wearing this, the one who's wearing that, it has been told me so many times, the one who I said I don't remember what the person was wearing because I didn't notice that. You get it. So everybody notices certain things. There are some people who are looking out to see What Car you drive. Many people have come to the church to find out the car that I drive. That is why when I go to a place, I don't park in the front. When you go somewhere, they will have a place. Oh, this is where the man of God is supposed to park. Because there are a lot of people who assess you and they assess you or judge you or they do this, do some kind of assessment based on your car. So many times I prefer to go in somebody's car to certain places. You get it because a car can be misleading. You get it. You know, a car that I use is not a car that I would use if I just was to choose it the best car that I think is the best. I also know what is the best car. I also know what is the best car and by the grace of God a church can afford to buy the best car for me. But I don't use what I think is the best or what I is my best personal preference. But you see there are people who that is all they look at. What Car do you use? Someone look at what head you now, God does not look at What Car, what her, what whatever. He tells us that he knows your works. Yeah, watching your works. Hallelujah. So when you die, the rest of works, the rest of work, all you can say is I was a member, a member, a member. Look, anybody who is at this camp whose credentials are I am a member. That's all your credentials. You see and picture yourself dead. You picture yourself dead, lying in front in a coffin. First of all, let's ask ourselves. Your works are usually determined by the tributes that have to be read, the different departments that may want to read attributes. That's one of the ways you can see about your works. One day I saw a certain lady. She had her funeral, and they wrote her. I mean, she was dead and they were having a funeral. And then they wrote their, you know, their friend is saying tributes. Tributes, Charlie. There was nothing to say. Yeah. It's one of the saddest things I've ever seen. So you one of the way you can assess your work is by imagining your funeral today. You guys imagine your funeral today. What will be written unless everyone take your pen and let's see the departments that will write about you. Take your pen and write the department. Departments that will write my tribute, write IT. Departments that will will request space to write the tribute in the church. Have you written it now? Have you got the department now? What is the department going to say? First of all, whether there is any, any department. Now what departmental, departmental tributes #1 #2 pastoral tributes, tributes from your pastor. Is Bishop Saki going to have anything to say about you? You stand up when I call to the microphone. Wanted to get scored. Your name is what? Kofi Appia. Bishop Saki, when he is dead, will you have anything to say about Kofi Appia, please? I just. Got to know him at the camp. You just got to know him at the camp. OK, Kofi Appia, What pastor do you have in the church? Master Max. Master Max stand up tribute. Tribute for Kofi Appia. Unless tribute. Do you have any tribute? Do you know him very well? You know him? Yes, Bishop. And you have a lot of tribute about him. Only one. One. Only one what? What tribute you have to say about him? He contributed for the last feast. He contributed for the last feast. What? What did he contribute for the last feast? He gave some. He gave some contribution. OK, let's say something. Yeah. So if you appear, you see, supposing you appear in heaven and you come, the angels start, bring the book. You contributed for the love feast, that's all. And you came to the camp. But the Love Feast, did you eat some? You didn't eat some, just contributed. OK, it's a it's a tribute. And then and then we are going to call our new computerized tithe monitoring data system to check tithes. That one they will tell you in heaven whether you pay tithes or that one God sees. So pastor pastors who can say something this brother no depart what department? Joel. Joel Chapel. Now. Joel Chapel. What do you do there? You pray. OK. Is that your Chapel? Yes. Bishop. OK Chapel. Pray. OK, so you write. He prayed at the Joel Chapel. And then he was regular. How many sentences? He's also a type payer. He's faithful. Faithful. And what else? OK, Where I'm pointing to, where I'm pointing to. Where I'm pointing to where I'm pointing to where I am pointing to. OK, Come, come. You. Who knows her? Bishop Saki. Do you know her? You know her tributes. Tributes. Yeah. She dances very well in the choir. She's in the choir. Yeah, yeah, she's very good, very good champagne. Very which pastors can give tributes? Reverend Johnny. Reverend Oko. What tribute will you give Telugu? Getting Max far? Your friend, your name is what Frances? You can give tribute. Well, I can say that I. You know her, but not a tribute. You see, we have those who know you and then tribute Knowing you is different from tribute. Tribute you said the president did was this, he did this, did this, did this, did this. Oh, I know her one line that one is thought you can't write even a sentence. I knew I know you like Michael Jackson's children when they were giving the attribute Daddy, I love you and that's it. Wax A. Faithful member of the choir went out on wait wait out on altitude. OK, knowing him or tributes? And what departments will be writing a tribute for you? Departments or Chapel. You know the difference. Genesis Chapel. But over your history, since you've been in the church, you. Church ally enquire. You church ally enquire have you caused anybody to fall? Since you came to the youth church, have you caused anybody to fall? Pardon. You don't know of any brother that you've caused to fall. You are sure through you somebody has ministry has not been destroyed. You are sure speak the truth in the presence of the law in the congregation of the sense. And then you, you said Genesis, can you give right a tribute? Yes, I can. I can say something. Can you say something? Hello. Yes, he's regular. Regular. OK, that's one sentence Somebody should get up and write. Attributes. He's regular. OK, Take your paper. He's regular. No stand here, right? He's regular. OK, He was he was regular. He was regular. He. Was regular handles a fellowship? He handles a fellowship. Shepherd. The shepherd, OK, he was regular and he handled fellowship. He was friendly to all. The tributes are very short. I don't have anything much to say. Think about it. When when Lady Pastor Gifty died, I went to her funeral and I had my own tributes, I had my pester. I did the people wrote tribute, soul to soul, person to person and TBA different, different people. And I said I have my own tribute. And somebody said I read my own tribute myself to Gifty when she died. I read my own tribute to her when she died. Yes, I have my own trip, nobody to read. If I read it for myself, what I can say about her and I had I had the essence to write. I wrote like that. Yeah. Is that he's written 2 sentence. One sentence. You say what? He was regular and what he handled a fellowship and what again he was a shepherd, friendly to all. Remorseful when corrected.
