09. What You Must Understand About The Lay Ministry

How many are also excited about the Volante? Yeah, Amen. Right now, number one, what I want you to understand about the Volante Lay Ministry. So I'm actually showing you a very wonderful effect of the lay ministry. And the first thing that I want you to understand what you must. So the topic is what you must understand about lay ministry or what you must understand about the volante. All right, the lay ministries, it's a it's a, it's a lighthouse word now for lay ministry. Volante. Yeah. The volante #1 the volante or the lay ministry? Your lay ministry is, is compatible with your secular job and your secular ambition. Amen. It's compatible. It can be. It can be done. And it is being done. If you don't know you are late, people are doing it. Doctor Ozzy, are you combining the ministry with being? What work did you do? What? What are you? What is your job? What kind of a doctor, pediatrician do you work in which which room? Which emergency room? Emergency room. There's a film called ER. He's one of the ER film makers. Yeah. He's one of the stars. ER. And are you able to be a pastor at the same time, by the grace of God? Now, which, which, which place should be more difficult to be a pastor with, you know, ER, well, emergencies, you understand, Rabbi, you should rather say that no Bishop is those who do community health or those who do psychiatry, they work from Monday to Friday, dermatologists or hematologists, they look at slides or pathologists, you know, but this is emergency. So emergency people don't plan when to have emergencies. They just come, you understand, it doesn't work, but I want you to realize that it is possible. It's compatible, and it's compatible into your old age. It's compatible, it's possible. So let us, if you are backsliding, just say I'm backsliding, but don't try to spoil something that is working and something that has worked for years. If you are backsliding, you've changed your attitude or something has changed about you and you don't want to do it, just backslide. The informants that look, I'm on a backsliding pause, OK, But don't start to say, oh, you know, I'm a student. I'm a medical student, I'm a law student. I'm in 10 year. I'm in this. I do this job. I'm a business, whatever. I'm a lawyer. I work in a law firm. I'm this, I'm that. No, don't, don't. If you've changed, just say I've changed. If you're backslidden, just accept up backslidden. You see, one day we were having a a passes meeting and backsliding has set into some of the pastors, you know, and somebody said, you know, people were questioning that. You know, it's like things are different now. We are doing this. Some of us have children, some of us have this, some of them, some of us have that, you know. And then somebody said, so 1111 lady got up and was speaking strongly on behalf of the lay ministry. That is possible for us to work. And somebody said, but you don't have a child, you see, you don't have a child, which was unfortunate, you see, because yes, that is below the belt because if somebody doesn't have a child, it is, it's not that. It's so the reason why the person is able to work for the Lord. If you have decided not to do whatever or you cannot do, just don't do it. But don't say you don't have a child, especially to a woman. Do you understand? Don't tell, don't, don't use that. So you don't have a child. You don't have a child. I, I cannot accept that. I cannot accept that. Or you can't tell someone you are not married, because I'll tell you there are beautiful ladies who are not married. The person is not married doesn't mean the person is not beautiful or the person is whatever or person is the hassle, whatever. No, don't say that. Don't talk that way. Don't say. But you, you are just a Carpenter. I'm a doctor. Carpenters can do this late ministry, but I'm a doctor, you know, I'm a whatever. That's why I thank God for me. The medicine, the doctor that I am, I use it all the time to fight minds and people who have these superiority feelings. Yes, I use it all the time. Recently I was I was being interviewed. Oh, I should have brought it to show you. I was being interviewed on television with Archbishop Duncan Williams. You know, and you know, they, they ask questions. You know, it's almost like you are silly. You're going to have it all night at the stadium and it's just like you need to do all night. We pray. So why don't you rather work, you know, and it's if we pray all day, hacker, when can we work? Why don't you rather work? Is that not what Ghana needs people to work rather than praying? You see, and I, I told the guy the question you are asking is unfortunate. It's an unfortunate question, you see. And I told her, I said I believe in praying, shouting, screaming. I'm a medical doctor. I believe in shouting. I said it on television. I believe in screaming, shouting, speaking in towns for hours. Hey, it was cool. Have you just Institute of Journalism? You went to look at the question you are asking me. You couldn't, you couldn't even go to the university. I'm not able to go to the university. I went to the university for seven years. Now you are asking me, well, do you not rather need to work? I like to use the grace that God gave me to go to school, to press down those people who despise us and despise the Church. Yeah. Are you there? Because you see, with Archbishop Dunker Williams, you could only make fun of him because he has not been even to Class 3. So you could, you could, you could maybe say, oh, you. But you know this, all you do is prayer. So no, I went to start and I believe in shouting, in screaming. I believe in prayers, more prayers. When you come home and he wants to eat and eat like this and he has made his face and he wants to have sex and he wants this and he wants that. You don't know anything about that because you are just, you are just a single lady. Nobody has married you before. That's not a nice. That's not the right way of speaking. I don't accept that talking. I don't accept this. It's unfortunate. Yeah, in a bear kind of way. Compatible. Not ART, brother. Check your spelling. Amen. OK. Are you there or you've gone home? Now, in the Bible, we see. We see. A good example, all right, An Apostle Paul. Apostle Paul was someone who was into tents. Amen. Are you there? Acts chapter 18. There's one after these things. Paul departed from Athens and came to Corinth, and found a certain Jew named Aquila, born in Pontius, lately come from Italy with his wife Priscilla. Because that Claudius had commanded all Jews to depart from Rome, and came unto them. And because he was of the same craft, he abode with them, and wrought. For by their occupation they were tent makers, And he reasoned in the synagogue and every Sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks. Amen. Notice verse 3. Acts after 18 verse three, it says and because he was of the same craft and the word craft means job, right, practicing the same trade, He abode with them and rot all right. And the the word rot is to means to wet. He wet. He abode with them and wet. You can check those of you who have a Hebrew, Greek, whatever. If you see the word rot, he, he stayed with them because they will have the same trade or profession. He stayed with them and rot or wept OK for by their occupation. You see because he, he, he, you see like people who maybe sell spare parts, they all work in the same area. Those who sell spare parts, they all in Ghana, there's a place called Cocumbe. They are all there. Toyota spare parts, Pijo spare parts, Nissan spare parts, Every spare part, we find it there. That place recently burnt down in Ghana. The whole place got burnt down. Yeah, everything was burnt in one day. Yeah. So when he found Pepper dealers, he went and joined himself to them and they all worked together. All right. Because like those who sell woods, you see so many of them together, they'll call it timber market in Ghana. Timber market, those who sell cars, they all sort of come together. So Paul came and found somebody who did the same kind of job that he did. So he went and stayed with them and wept and said why? Why did he stay with them? Because by their occupation, they were all tent makers. So he went and joined himself to tent makers. Yeah, all the tent members were all together in one area. You understand how many understand what I'm talking about? Yeah. Then on Sundays, look at the next bus on Sundays. All right, change the vest quickly. Who's the guy there? Where's the striker? Take up this guy. Who's controlling the. Where are you? Stand up, please. Who's there? Step. Step out of here. Lift your hand. Fire. OK. You are too slow. Now, he reasoned, in the synagogue every Sabbath, Yeah, there was a propagandist and a messenger. I mean, this is how this is how the ministry was being started. Like salary pay, whatever you see. So it's a delusion of ministry is he is to think that to be a real minister. I mean, who is more real than poor? Oh, who is more real than poor? Paul's books are being read 2000 years later. This man, this man, the one who went to the town. Go to Acts chapter 18, verse one. Go up. Look at that guy. Step step, step. Step forward. All right now after these days. Hey. So he, he recently came from Italy. They used to come by ship with his wife because Claudius, OK, had commanded all Jews to depart from Rome. I think Claudius was the Roman emperor or something and came unto them. So they, they had recently come from Rome, from Italy. OK now, because they had the same, not because they were in the same church, they were all doing this work. They all came and stayed together because this was their work, they said. And they stayed together. And rot, rot is the keyword. They all worked. Do you get it? They all stayed together and they worked. Are you there? Are you understanding? Yes and they were for they were by their occupation. They were tent makers. OK now the next verse and he reasoned in the synagogue. Are you there? He reasoned in the synagogue every Sunday and persuaded. How many agree with me that you can stay in Phoenix, AZ and rot American rot in Arizona and Carolina and Texas and Alaska and rot everywhere, which is a whack everywhere. And then on Sunday you can go and reason huh in the synagogue and persuade people? I think it's possible. It's not an idea that is coming from Bishop Dyke Heward Mills. It's an idea in the Bible. So you see that the lay ministry is something very, very, very wildly biblical. He stayed with the people who are doing that. And not only did he do that work, but it's like he came. That's the work he was doing. Those are the people that were there. And I mean, his work affected him so much that he had to go and stay. He was like all tailors. They are all in one area. In, in, in Accra, we had tailors. Where are the tailors? Opera Square. They are all tailors. They are all in one area. All tailors are together. Yes, all cells of spare parts are together. There is, I don't know what it is. People just tend to come to that same place. It's not like you have one tailor here, 1 tailor here. They are all together. It's amazing. Paul's, Paul's work affected him so much that he will have to go and find where do they make tents? Then on and you see on Monday, you see Paul with the tents working, working, doing this, organizing your material, doing this, whatever. This was his main work. Then on Sundays, I mean, you can't even even even even imagine it because Paul, he seemed so spiritual. Corinthians, Romans, Hebrews, this, I had a vision and man, this, I was doing this, I was doing that. I tell you that so weird that he was working working. So we, we have to encourage ourselves so much. All of us, all of us. We must encourage ourselves. And he was writing label. That's why I said I labeled more abundantly than all of them. I was, well, I was really, really working. If you take this away from Lighthouse, we have taken away the engine, the heart. We have taken away the heart of the ministry. Yeah, and we should not allow it. You should not allow it. And you guys over here, you must be Wilder. You see, the Bible says that how blessed is a man who has a lot of children. His quiver is full of there. He said that they will speak with the enemy in the gates. You don't have to allow somebody to even meet me for the person to tell me that I'm rude or I'm proud. You have to meet the enemy in the gate and say that. My friend, My friend, will you will you get out of here now? Nonsense. You have to do that. You have to. You see, you have to let your father look very calm. You don't have to let himself come. Yeah. And when, When they do that, when you do that, they will say to you that oh, you are the elder brothers who are some way difficult people. As for Bishop, there's no problem with him and not. And so yes, I am the difficult person in the church and you will always deal with me. If Bishop doesn't want me, he will inform you that he will deal with me. So you, you is it when you have a good son, you will always never let your father look bad. And it's not that because the person also doesn't mind looking bad. I don't mind looking mad. It's my work. But it's when you have to rather look at this, you people cool down. I have to be sitting. People, just relax. And you proposed to tell me that. Bishop, you'll be quiet. We know what we are doing. I read a person who was criticizing Kenneth Higgin and criticizing said that the sons are they are West of Fred eyes his Rolls Royce this and that this, this, that. Oh so many things. This is how sons must be. You meet the enemy in the gate. So our father is resting and we, you know, you know, you know spices this evening. You know what is spices? It will be spices. Ginger. I'm the ginger. I'm the trinkle. I'm, I'm the, I've locked up the gate here. You don't have to let me come. And I'll be doing sedatives facing whatever. Oh, that is the use of children. You must be very, very wild. Don't allow anybody who breaks away goes to start churches nearby. What Don't allow them to intimidate. Don't allow them to invite your members around you Are you are spoiling the church to allow people to spoil the church. Things that don't be try to be Mr. Nice. Mr. Nice is a bad man, a person who tries to look nice, have a good image and people don't say bad things about you. Don't think it's a bad attitude like you want to be a nice. Everybody likes you. People say good thing. It's a very dangerous attitude. I don't like to have such people around me because me, I always, you see, Bishop Sakis told me a vision that he had one day he was working with me and then we were going, I was going to preach somewhere and he met some people who were trying to prevent us or so. And then this guy had a toilet, you know, toilet. There's a toilet that used to be the bucket. There's a type of toilet, a wooden toilet. You sit on it and it's full. The bucket is then in the morning, then in the morning, in the morning they take the bucket or in the night they take it and then they pour it out the whole bucket. The metal bucket like that is is full of the pupu at everybody Juicy the whole house. And he said that he met some guys who were keen to fight with me, Juicy, and he fought with them and they took a toilet and the whole bucket and poured it on him. And when they poured it on him, he was like he was there with the people. And then I was able to go ahead. So I went ahead while they poured all the toilets on him. And he went ahead and went to the I went ahead and went to the program and I preached and he said God gave him a revelation that this is the role of an assistant. You go and receive the toilet so that the leader can go ahead and do whatever it is that he has to do. It's a midfielder, yeah. Yeah, An assistant is a volante. Nah, They have locked up the whole system and he's able to go and minister. So I was able to go in the dream. I was able to go and preach. Once he has received the full toilet on him, I think they wanted to pour it on me and he put it on him so that I was able to go. Yeah. And how could I have preached if they had put it on me? You see, so that's why you get the same reward because you are able to do this because this guy has received a toilet on on on him. So you you couldn't even have those revelations. He had not arrived by you received a toilet 2 work together to do the one the same day. So I want you to be very well because we are defending your even your life, your opportunity. You wait. If you didn't have the church, you'll be surprised how your life will be. Everything will be useless. In America, church forms a very large part of your life. But you don't. You don't know. It forms a very large part of your life. Yeah. Your mind is related to the church. Everything. Your friends, your relationship, everything. Your movements. It's all church. Church. Church, church. Amen. Are you there? You are going home? Yeah. And we are staying. I want you guys to be very wild. Don't let me look like I am wild. And real fans remember the example. You can I take it. See, Fred Price, he believes Rolls Royce. This is the car that he uses. He uses only Rolls Royce. Yeah. Can I The number of jets, aeroplanes, this for all of those people, they are far wide. Can I take it was not like that at all. The faith and the things he believed. When I met friend Price came to Ghana, we were talking with him. We asked him so many things, you know, do you do you believe that the black man is so personally I'm blessed. So I don't I don't know whether the black. I feel blessed. I tell you and the questions he answered the questions. So I personally, I'm blessed. Yeah, I'm blessed. 18 years old, walking like somebody who is 33, slim walking. He's passed me in New York. He has moved to New York. Yeah, I know. He flies up and down with his private jet all the time. He's a multi millionaire. Hey, I cannot say he brought his taught faith, prosperity. The sons have taken it further. Rolls Royce is bad. These are what is. The car doesn't use Toyota. It doesn't use Hyundai. It doesn't use a bullet. No, no, no, no. It is a Rolls Royce. Rolls Royce. That's what. The planes, The planes, The planes, the engine of a plane of Rolls Royce. They are Rolls Royce. Those are what they use. Rolls Royce. That's what. The small car. Yeah. So I'm surprised. And I have I have that mind even in the city. That's why I don't do interviews. I don't you cannot interview me. When when I ask, when you ask me a question, I'll ask you to you, what do you? What do you kind of mind that I have? People hate you. Yeah. So it's not difficult for me to deal or to see people directly and deal with the issue. I don't have a problem with it. But I'm giving you the opportunity to be a good son and to rise up in different roles you can play. Say, look, my friend, as long as we are here, if we have not had this opportunity given to us to be lay pastors, I mean, who would have even greeted us in this life? Think about it. The work that you do, do they do they give you any honor? There you walk in and nothing. You are not even wanted. The day you die, you just oh, sorry, let's go on. You'll be replaced by the afternoon. You'll be moving on. What an opportunity, What a blessing, what a gift, what a what an honor. What an honor, What an honor, What an honor. People must tell you. You are a hard man. You are difficult and difficult. I have some people who work with me. They work for me, they work with me. Some of them are even ladies. Senator Congress, some of those things that was then the king made Daniel a great man, gave him many gifts, made him ruler. Daniel 248 over the whole province of Babylon, and chief of the governess over all the wise men of Babylon. He was a member of parliament and chairman of the committee. He was made the chief of the governess. Wow. Then #2 he was the second vice president to Belshazzar. That was his then commanded Belshazzar and they closed Daniel with Scarlett. Different regimes come and go. He will still be appointed. Put a chain of gold, make a proclamation that he should be the third ruler in the Kingdom. Daniel 529, he was the 3rd ruler. That means the first ruler is the president, second ruler is the vice president, third ruler, second vice president. Have you seen that? Look at it. Daniel 529, he should be the third ruler, third ruler. So he was the third person in command in the that is in in Ghana, it will be the speaker of parliament. I don't know what you have in America, Speaker of the House. Is that the person who comes in after the vice president? If the president is dead, the vice president steps in, isn't it? If the vice president dies, then who steps in? The speaker of Parliament. So he was the speaker of parliament, isn't it? Amen. And #3 He was the Prime Minister during the reign of Darius. So how can it be that you and I do not want to accept that whatever work you are doing, you can. And I thank God that I went to medical school because if I hadn't been to medical school, you would have bamboozled me all the time when I told say, oh, this thing they tell apply medicine is different. Let's say this, I thank God, hey, I've not gone to medical school. I don't know what you would have done to me, but because I went to medical school and I am a doctor, when I tell you that you can work, you can emergency room, emergency room. So you can do that in Ghana, but you can't do that in America. Then I will just call Doctor Lush and say Doctor Lush, do you live in America or not? I live in America. You work in the ER or not? I work in the ER. You pastor a church. I pastor a church. So what again do we, What else? What else is left? ER in Newark is different camp. What is ER in Newark camp? He has inside information. Do you live in Newark? You've lived there before. Are you a doctor? What are you information scientist? Newark, almost every two minutes or three minutes, there's an ambulance going, there's a crime, a crime, theft, there's a gunshot. I mean when when you tell people you live in Newark, they wonder how come you are still alive. Are you serious? It's not a, it's not a simple thing. You should, it's a wild place you live. One point #2 point #2 Sometimes it is the will of God for you to be and lay pastor, but sometimes it is the will of God for you to be in full time ministry and you have to respect both. Amen. Philippians chapter 4, verse 12. I know both how to be abased and how to abound everywhere and in all things. I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I know how to do both hungry ministry and full ministry. Amen. And one of the greatest turning points. I wrote a book once. 7 turning points of my life. Is the sound different? What sound is this? Hallelujah, everybody say turning points. Everybody has a turning point and everybody has a number of turning points in your life. Everybody say turning points, so lay ministry and full time ministry. Many times there are turning points. Amen. OK, there are tending points and there will always be a number of tending points in your life. Everybody say tending points. Do you accept what I'm saying? Tending points, when it comes to a turning point and you don't turn, you get into all kinds of difficulty. For me, I was a lay pastor, champion of lay ministry, and God told me one day, give thyself wholly. Give yourself completely to what you are doing. Do it fully, fully. Since then I stopped everything I was doing. I was a businessman. I had a tipper track, a blue tipper track, Thetford Tripatra. I was into standing stone business. I was AI was a supplier of standing stone to the Tema rehabilitation project, rehabilitation of the Tema Harbor. I was supplying standing stone from a town called Akuse. Or is it Akuse or Athena were making they were making paper blocks to pave the whole harbor. I earned a lot of money from that. My truck was working. Hey, when the truck went, you'll be Rachel. If you ever don't know what business to do, buy a cheaper truck, but you have to sit in it yourself. You have to sit in this yourself so that the driver and the mate will not swindle you, but you'll get a lot of money. You'll be very rich if you are. Practical wisdom makes you rich. And the definition of wisdom is the ability to use your knowledge, your experience and your understanding with common sense and practical wisdom. Practical application. Apply it. You see, I'll say it again, is the ability to use your knowledge, your experience and then your understanding with common sense and practical application is the definition in the dictionary. You can check it. So the reason why in Africa we have so many heads of states who have lived and worked abroad, they have the knowledge, they studied economics, they have the knowledge, they have the experience, they've lived outside, and then they have understanding of how things work out. But as soon as they arrive at Kotoka International Airport, it disappears. How to practically apply it with common sense. Practically, that's where the joint is ghost. And then they they cannot make it. So you can have a lot of input, but you don't know how to connect it practically and make it work for you and make you practically blessed. Amen. How did we get into all that? Turning points, huh? See that track? Yeah. You have to be practical. You have to sit in the track yourself. Practically, you'll be very rich. I tell you if you are practical, if you are practical, you'll be rich. I don't have, I don't have any bills. I don't have any shoes to buy. This is the one I Why is it work? It's working. I don't have any suits to buy. If you have any bills, all the bills you may all have, if you are practical, you'll be rich and people are not practical. Is it the powerful? Amen. If you are practical, you can do it now. There will be several turning points in your life where you have to turn 10101010 Everybody say turning points in lighthouse. We had a turn when I started to preach about Pharaoh years ago. It was a turning point. We we we needed to continue to expand and build more churches. But you see, to build more, we were surrounded by a sea of places you cannot enter and ever find a job. Places like Nigeria, Niger, Cote d'Ivoire, they are difficult to find jobs. People don't go there to go and prosper. Congo Brazzaville, DRC, we said. I sent a missionary to Congo. The house he was living in collapsed and he died in the, he died in the house, a young man, Pastor Evans. I got a text earlier in the morning, Pastor Evans was dead. I said what else? What else? How is he there? The house he was living in they made, I don't know how they made it. Was that sleeping in his bed and it collapsed. So the actual, the, the senior missionary was not in the house. He was sleeping in another house that night with his wife and then assistant pastor. He wore his pyjamas, everything. He was in his bed, he just went to bed and he woke up in heaven. It's not a place where you can go and get a job or something like that. These are not places like that. So can Lighthouse go to those places without having a term away from the lay ministry way? We could not be in certain places. And at the same time, there are places without having a job, you cannot be there. For instance, I need a missionary to go to Angola. To rent a house in Angola, you need about $5000 a month or $7000 a month to rent a house there. You will not believe it. The So I need somebody who works with these firms or something to be there. It's so expensive. Ethiopia, they don't allow. You cannot even buy a house. It's they're starting like Barclays Bank where everything is Ethiopia, their language, their alphabet, everything is different. The dates. Christmas is another next year and they are in 2009 or so now. They are in 2008 or 2007 now. Yeah, you cannot enter. I need people to go to school in in Brazil. I need people to go to school. I need people to go to school in Columbia University and be there. There is no other way. You cannot because I'm a missionary. They don't need to. There's nothing like that. And it's so expensive. If we are to have three missionaries in South America, we will pay like $25,000 a month to just maintain three people in three places. And it takes years to get things going. So I need some of you doctors. I need you to say, oh, we are American doctors. We are going to work in this S Latin American country and go there, become a doctor there, set up a clinic, work there, do the work. And before I realise you have a huge church just like Paul. I have missionaries who knew that the way you can get into a country is to give birth there. They impregnated their words and went and gave birth there and they got that's how they did. It's a ministry. Different ways of being at a place. Practically when they gave birth, when they gave birth, they got a resident permit. I have grown-ups. Who've gone to school, they go to school so that they can be in the ministry there. Apostle Dodo, he went to school, I finished university, pharmacist graduated and I told him please go to university, but he had to other others. We had to close down the church in Geneva. So he went and applied to the university. A grown apple. He applied to the university and went to school to see going for lectures so that he can be there. They have nothing to do with. So I asked him what course I do is I'm doing French. It's a special agent. The the friend was just a cover up. I know families that have finished having children. They were not going to have any child. They decided to try and see if they can get one. More people have finished. So I don't want so they call the child this my missionary child open the door for them when just the last minute or they went they gave birth. But people come to America all the time to give birth so that they get American whatever for the children. If somebody is going to give birth so that he can get a resident permit for all the whole family. You see, you see, when it comes to the gospel, then we suddenly become so spiritual and it here become spooky. What do you think? So we have to keep telling. One day I had a vision, got to me, I have to do some medical work again. Yeah, that's what even LED us to have the hospital because I had to do medical myself, practice medicine, and I'm ready to practice medicine. I'm ready do anything. When I say I'm full time, I'm working for God. Whatever is involved, I'm ready to do it. I'm ready to do it. There must be nothing you are fixed to. And that is why even when you are a lay pastor, you should have a flexible heart. Lord, if this is what is involved. Is your baby Louisa? How old are your children? 14 to the last time you had a child was 2110 years ago. 10 years ago. Supposing the Lord tells you that you should have a try and have a baby so that you can be somewhere, would you be prepared to do that? You know, you don't look like somebody who is postmenopausal. You're not. Postmenopausal tubes are also open. But let's say even she has tied her tubes and the law said, look, if you can try to have a baby, go and do the operation, see if you can reverse it. Some people do it, or you can try to breakthrough the surgery in the house. Just why not? It could be a turning point in your life. How many are going to become more flexible in the hand of the Lord? More flexible. Sometimes you even have to marry somebody to be in the mission field. Yeah, you marry for papers. Don't people marry for papers all the time? Listen, if your, if my wife was, God forbid my wife was not alive and I needed to marry, all of you will be will be will be concerned that I will marry somebody who will be good for the ministry. I mean, go and find some delicious whatever 16 year old someone. He said this one will not really help you in your ministry, you see. So if you are thinking that about me, why can't I also think that why don't you marry somebody that will be good for your ministry? Supposing marrying a South American lady may be good for your ministry. You can be able to go there. You live happily ever after in Uruguay. Come find Suarez house and put a bomb there. Wow. Everybody say turning points. Turning points. Are you ready to be turning? Yeah, we must be ready to be turning. This way. This way, this way. Amen. So sometimes you have to be hungry. Sometimes you have to be full. As for me, being hungry is not a problem. I can be hungry. I can be full. I will not eat. When I was coming on the flight, I didn't eaten. I didn't like the food. I will not eat. Yeah, Yesterday I I didn't have any food. I will not eat. It's OK. I just left. No problem. I can be angry. I can, I can eat plenty. I can't also be there. You see, some of you are too rigid to eat. You must have a mountain. See, one day I saw somebody. He went to, he went to, he went to dish himself. And I said, look, This is why you are so fat. Even I didn't, I didn't say it. Somebody came to. I was sitting facing this way and somebody came to see him and said, I'm very worried. I said worried about one. I said, I've seen somebody's food. They see so much. And I and I said, yeah, it's a it is a problem. There are some people the only way they know how to eat exist is to eat mountains of food. They are like elephants. We take up most of their vegetation. Elephants are introduced to reduce vegetation in a place. Yeah, they take up so much and bring out so much Zimbo. So, Louisa, will you be prepared to have a baby, huh? I can't hear you. Wow, you want me to be married to the right person? Who's OK? Good for me, the ministry. I also want you to be as some of you you have to you may have to cross-border with a black person. You marry a white person so that you can breakthrough the ministry. We have a past pastor friend in in Ukraine. He married a white lady. He you go to his chest, you see 1000 white people on Sunday morning. One, not even even 1 black person in the chest. He married a white lady. Yeah. Huh. She's good for the ministry. Because when you marry a person from the country, you show that I like the people. I love the people, and I've taken one of them and looked after her as my personal, my personal private sheep. So the others look and say, wow, this man really loves us. He's a Good Shepherd. He's got one personal sheep and all of us are also his sheep. That's true. All his members, the one who drives him, the one who assisted everywhere, all white people. He's the only Ghanaian black person. 1000. Not that they say I've been there, I've preached there. Yeah, it's it's wonderful. So sometimes marriage is necessary. You see that look and say I feel something in this direction. This one is good for me, for my calling. Yeah, I don't marry and later come and say I want to eat KK and I'm not getting KK to eat. I want to read thank you #3 How many numbers do you have? Two, Three. Paul was a lay pastor so that others could follow his good example. In Acts chapter 20, he says in verse 32, I place you now in God's care. Remember the messages about his great kindness. This message can help you and give you what belongs to God as God's people. I've never wanted anyone's money or clothes. You know how I have worked with my own hands to make a living for myself and my friends Now, by everything I did, I showed you how you should work to help everyone who is weak. By everything I did, I showed you how. In everything I showed you that by working hard in this manner, you must help the weak. And remember the words of Jesus, Amen. By everything that I did, the way I worked, I was showing you, huh, how you must help, Amen. The weak, I'm showing you, by the way I was going about it, how you must help. Is it awful? Is it such an example? I'll show you what you're supposed to do. You are. You are as good as me in the ministry. Just believe it. You can do what? Because it's not about what I'm doing is that you must get 100% in your paper. You will be at the throne if you get 100% in your exam. 100% for you, 100% for you, 100% for you. It's all 100%. So you must do 100% of what you are supposed to do. Remember that you are not rewarded for the position you were given. You are rewarded that you were faithful in what you were given. That's why I says well than good and faithful. That's why I have far more work to do than some of you because I've been given many gifts and I have to work hard. So whatever gift you've been given, you can get 100% when we get to, we'll be walking together to the throne. And someone said about Bishop was a, this one was just a shepherd. So yeah, faithful 100% got 100% at shepherd in Bishop got 100% at being a Bishop. So what Bishop and the shepherd, they are all moving together. Wow, wow. That's why, that's why, that's why I recommended Kuju from Vancouver, because he got 100% by going there. Yeah, that's it. So you try to get 100% in what you are supposed to do. If all you are supposed to do is to be a trinkle to protect me from something, do your trinkle work. If you're supposed to be a volante, help me, shield me from certain things, do it. If you're supposed to help, do it. The help. Just get the full mark of your work. In fact, when I had this, I was so sad because I, I, I felt that once I'm a Bishop, when I get to heaven, I'll be above everybody. Then I read in Rejoin this book when he said that you are not rewarded according to your rank, whether you are an apostle or prophet, but that was just your job. That is whether you are faithful in it. I was very sad when I read that because I thought that by being an apostle or a Bishop or a pastor that I'll automatically be very high. And I've realized that all my members can be the same as me. So now I'm very hot. I really have to fight to be faithful with what I have been given because maybe I'm supposed to have 10,000 churches and you are supposed to have one fellowship or to be an Asher. Then I'll be comparing myself to and say that oh me, I don't do my you are just an Asher. I'm a Bishop. Look at that, God, excuse me, I'm going to heaven to get my rewards, but I didn't like that part of the book at all. So you've got to work hard and be faithful with what God has put in your hand. If you have 10 talents, you'll be judged for 10 talents, not 9. Your judgment will be based on 10 talents. If you are given 3 talents, your judgment will be based on three talents. That's why I always encourage people who sing, who do this, who do different, and say that look, you will be given the judgment for the talents you are giving all of the different talents. Because me, I also have some small musical talent. I use my music all the time. I don't play instrumental, but I have my own department that I work in. I even have a keyboard in my office. I'm always working on music. Yeah, because it's part of the thing. That's why I'm also a doctor. I also use the medicine. I also do medical office. I'm a doctor because I will also be judged for that one too. I say you will be judged for if you are giving 11 talents. All the 11:00 will be brought up. We've all been brought up. So OK, come. This one was given 11 talent, 17 talent person has come. OK, all the examiners for the different talent areas will be brought up if you are given financial talents, The financial one, OK, your shepherdorial one, your musical one, your this one, your administrative one, your helping one, your volante one, your Trico one, your health ministry. Oh, we brought ups. OK, we check on see this one, 3%, this 118%, this one, you totally deleted it. This one you were not whatever. And Paul said I did this so that you would have an example. Just do what I'm doing. Don't say to yourself, I'm not an apostle, am I evangelist and what? Pray for me, Pray for me. Rather all these different things that I'm doing that God will help me to be faithful. Just be praying for me so that I can get a good man. Because when you have so many times like an exam paper with so many, so many questions and so many papers, one exam, your geography, there's history, there's this, there's that, there's maths, there's science, there's oh, unlike somebody who is just doing 333 literature, literature, history and philosophy, you are doing history, literature, history, English, maths, physics, chemistry, biology and maths. This one oh so many things. So Paul said, you know, just follow my example, follow my example and I know God is going to bless us powerfully. How many are ready to be I I want to see super lame pastors. That's why I will always give you the color the same color that I wear when I'm officiated. I will give you that same color because I I respect you as equally capable of accomplishing a great thing for God. I would let you have that same collar with the shirt and everything. So I'm the minister of the gospel. You have it and you have the honour publicly do not make when they see us together. Do not know that you work at the Montreal and I work in the church. You are a pathologist and I'm, I'm whatever, do not know that you are a nurse and I'm actually in the church all the time and you work most of the time in the lab or whatever. No, we are all ministers. When we go and see outsiders, they all know that we are just ministers. Do you understand? Are you understanding what we are doing? When lay pastors rebel and behave in a family, I realize they don't know what we are doing. Because if a point came where we even had reverend ministers who were working, I had the reverend minister who was working at the Mortuary. OK. And we have pastors in the church who have not yet been ordained. So when there's a wedding, the reverend minister has to come from the Montreal to come and officiate. Well, the passers who have full time because they have not yet reached the place where they ordained. So people are coming from the Montreal to officiate wedding at the cathedral. And the outsiders don't know that this actually, this actually a doctor from the working at the Montreal, he's just come from dissecting a dead body. He's come to officiate and bless their wedding. The real, the real priest who is doing it all the time, he has not have got a collar. Look, as I look at the lay past, I say they don't know what we've done for them. Public doesn't know. Yeah, public doesn't know what we've done. So this is pastor. This is why we don't even say, oh, this is a lay pastor. This one, he's actually a motry, a person or he's actually this or that, they say. So that's a pastor. It's an honor that I've given to you. I've shared the ministry with you. They are sharing the bedding, sharing the honor. And then you want to turn against me. Instead of rather honoring me and thanking me, he wants to turn against me and now start fighting me and saying that what, when I preached about dangerous sands, somebody said that that message that he preached dangerous and I can also preach dangerous status. You don't have to talk like that. It's not a nice thing. You don't have to talk like that. It's not nice. It's a dangerous statement. Dangerous statement. And show yourself to be more dangerous. Look at what we have done for you all these years. I always remember Pastor Joao, you know, give me a chair. Give me this chair. Yeah. Driving to. Driving to, driving to Maryland, because I don't be driving like this, like this. He'll be driving like this on the highway. He's so tired. He's so tired like this. Five hours, he'll be holding. It was when he was like that, I said there's something wrong with that. This thing, it's too much for him. He's too much. He's tired. He'll be driving like this. You should be driving like this 1:50 or 2:45. You must hold the steering wheel. 2:45 or 1:50. Did you know that that he was doing it? And now you say that the now you say that the members in the in the Maryland church are for you when somebody was risking his life to come up and down all the time. Suppose he had a diver now Sarah would have been a widow all these years. I need to think people don't have accidents in America. David Wilkerson just died in a terrible accident. I saw the picture of of of it. A lady from Ghana came. She was doing soccer. She was doing some soccer, whatever. She died early morning. She was going to work. So many people died in accidents here. I wonder because they cleared them. You don't see the accidents on the way, but a lot of people have died on the road. Ghana, we have signs, 17 people died here. Two people died here. Four people died as we are driving. You see the signs, 17 people died here, Eight people died here. This is it's a sideboard that we've made so that you slow down. 17 people died here, Two people died here. Nine people died here like this all along the way to to cool you down so that you don't drive fast. You have it all the way. 19 people died, 743 people died here. 12 people perished here. We have it. Oh, we've given you the great opportunity. Like Paul said, I'm, I'm just being an example. What you should do. You know what you should do? Don't don't misunderstand the sharing of the ministry, what we are sharing with you all to be involved in the ministry. Don't misunderstand it, don't be confused about it. It's a great gift for you to be and we have protected you from being attacked by the Spirit that attacked Akan, Eve, Esau, Balaam, Judas, all this. We've protected you from it. In Jesus name, stand to your feet. Hallelujah. Let us pray. Father, we thank you for the great blessing that Paul gave to us in the ministry, Amen.
