Welcome to track #11 of lay power. Hallelujah. All right, let's pray. Father, thanks for this opportunity in Jesus name, Amen. Next one, the ministry. Now for you to understand, for you, for the late, for the common man to do well, there are some things that you must understand deeply. Amen. So I am now going to share with you some things from the book, lay people and the ministry. All right, OK, I see a copyright here. So if you don't have it, you get yours. OK, now the chapter is Chapter 9, the ministry work or rest Ephesians chapter 4 verse 11. Now for the release of lay power, you need to understand that many are called. That's why I've spent all that time trying to explain to you that you, somebody like you and somebody like me can work. The next thing that you need to understand is that ministry is weak because if you approach it from a presumptuous point of view, you will make some mistakes. It's like everything. There are people who have watched US playing golf or seen that we're playing golf and talk to themselves that it not be anything. And so many times I've had the joy of welcoming such people as, oh, let's, let's discuss something. And I take them around the golf course. And by the time we get somewhere, you see them huffing and puffing like a lizard with the mouth has become swollen and they are tired, sweating and something that you think that is old men that are playing and it's nothing. But then you begin to see that it's not nothing to work for 8 kilometers in the 40° sunshine without even feeling that you are walking for 8 kilometers. You get it. You realize that it's not nothing and that you need to be a certain fit to a certain extent to even enjoy something like that and be able to do it easily. Yes. Are you there? Yeah, now another joy that I have is to put the ball in front of these people and say here is a club try, try and then they miss the ball. They miss the ball, the ball is there and I said try again and they miss the ball, it's one. And then when they hit the ball, it just goes right here. So brothers and sisters, this reality of despising what people do, you get it when you watch it from afar, makes you not respect things that you should respect. And anything you don't respect, you will not learn it well. When you don't respect something, you don't learn it well. You take this over this one or this is nothing or this is whatever, you know. For instance, I didn't used to respect the work of politicians very much, but of late I've come to really respect them and feel sorry for them. Apart from respecting the work that they do, also feeling sorry for them, You know, because the job is only for four years and then you work so hard and you give up so much for this political vision. Do you get it? And, and, and people are only ungrateful for what you do. Yeah. And the first person I felt very, very sorry for was Rawlings. President Rawlings, after 20 years of struggling with the country, you realize that there are a lot of people who would like to kill him. I said, I mean, his reward for what he, what he, what he has done. And then the other person that I felt sorry for was President Kufuo. Well, after all that he has done for eight years, taking us pragmatically through the post Rollins era, only to be said, Charlie, look, we don't want you and your Akufuadu and all this just go away for your National Health insurance and your free feeding program and your road to Pong and your road to Cape Coast and your road to wherever, it just go away. And we want the NBC to come back. When they were doing the advert, they did an advert and they showed a soldier coming back and they said hi, the people are coming back and just let them come. We want them to come. And Ghanaians have welcomed them back. Hey, yeah, fantastic. Hey, yeah, marvelous. But you see, when you don't respect politics, when you don't respect a job, you don't understand what really happens. And one of the things that you must do for every job, especially if you are going to double in it or have anything to do with it, is you must respect it very much. I've come to respect politics so much that I've decided I don't want anything to do with it. And I would advise anybody who has an option to do such a job because everything you are and everything you have will be attributed to the politics and will you, you, you can easily be persecuted forever for everything you have because of small politics that you weren't entered into. So because working for the that, that the people don't seem to appreciate even the genuine politicians. Don't you think so? Yeah, We, we we don't have much respect for them. That's how it is. So what I'm saying is that I am asked. I'm saying all that I'm saying not because I don't, I don't know what to say or I don't understand what I'm saying or I don't know. I don't have anything to say. I have things to say from here to the top. But I'm saying all that I'm saying so that you understand it. And the reason I'm saying that I'm saying what I'm saying because I've heard people say when I'm preaching that I'll be saying whatever, but I should just remove all that. But it has. It is not part of the message. And I'm saying what I'm saying. Yeah. I'm saying what I'm saying because not because I don't know what I'm saying and rather because I know what I'm saying, that I'm saying what I'm saying. Yeah, as I say, you got it. I'm saying that when you see somebody working, you can easily not respect his work. There are some jobs. They are easy to respect. Let's say if you see a doctor operating, it's easy to respect it. Do you see? It's easy to respect it when you see somebody in the bank with his tie in the air conditioning room with a lot of papers and cabinets, you can easily respect it. He's doing something, do you see? But when you see somebody wearing red and blue withholding handkerchief or NDC, whatever and hold you and shaking, you may as well not respect it. I said, oh, this man, what is wrong with you? Like if it's someone like with syndrome, some people will say that an honourable man with his hotel, why doesn't he rather expand his hotel? He's going to follow this whatever up and down, up and down and they will not vote for him. Oh how many percentage did he get? About two people are wiki though there is 2%. If a Kufuadra ever become the president of Ghana, then he'll be 72 years old or so, isn't it? Or 68 or what, 72, I mean a job that you have to wait 72 years before you can do it. 72 years? Hey, what type of job is it? 72 years, so you must respect the job if you are going to go into it. You will know that to be somebody that people will vote for, a lot of things you will do for a long time and you will be old before you, may almost be dead before you get on board. That is how the ministry workers. You have to respect it, the work. The ministry is work. We are working. I see many people come to see pastors and you talk to the pastor about your problem and to you. You are just talking, you see, but that is the work of the pastor. The work of the pastor is the talking. So a lot of people who do not understand the pastoral work, you'll find out that they'll say, can I see you on the day that you are supposed to be resting? This I'll come to your house to discuss something with you. Because you are free, you'll not give the pastor a day. Nobody should call any pastor on Monday unless it's an emergency. Nowadays we don't work the full time passes. We don't work on Mondays. Don't call us for anything. If you call us on Monday, it means you don't respect the Sabbath and go and read in the Bible what happened to those who don't respect Sabbath and those who eat swine's flesh. So, brothers and sisters, the Sabbath is a day of rest. And for pastors, those who come full time to work when they are new, they work on Mondays. Because when you come from the lay point of view, you don't see it as work. After some time, you start to know that Monday is a very important day. You really need Monday. Yeah, but a lot of you, when they come, you see the Monday they are Monday. None. They are going to work. They've got out. They are moving. After some time they realize that. Charlie Monday. No. A very important blessing. Are you listening to me? I want you to respect working in the ministry. Even as a Lycos. If you are not doing it full time, you must respect it and you must respect those who are doing it full time. You mustn't say to yourself, but this might not be anything. Me and Lycos Graham, a common man, I'm preaching a common man, I take offering a common man, I don't know. You must rather say that I have been privileged to come and do something that I shouldn't have been doing. You're not certified, you're not licensed, you shouldn't be here, but you're being admitted to join us, and we are admitting you because God is admitting you. Amen. Otherwise we will make ourselves more mysterious. I'll cover myself with a big black bed sheet, and I'll come with a big black bed sheet. Four people covering me like that, and I'll come here now. They'll take off the clothes. I've come with anointing. You will be afraid of me here. Are you there? OK, so the ministry is work. Now turn to Ephesians chapter 4, verse 11. He gave some apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers for the perfecting of the Saints and for the work of the ministry, for the what? The game of the ministry, for the play of the ministry, for the hobby of the ministry, for the work. So if you are coming to join us in this work as a Lycos, you are coming to work. It is work. Do you understand? So how many are ready to work? Can you work? Not just to be receiving what you call it blessings? Take it what? Take it 2 Take it three. Take it four. No, no, no, no, no, no more of just taking things. It's rising up to work. We are all going to work hard. Do you get it? So ministry is work. There's a lot of work now when you see a singer singing, you can easily not respect it because it looks like, oh, you just open your mouth and you start Hallelujah and you start singing. But you can ask Michael Jackson how hard he worked to become what he became. Yeah, working, working, working, singing, singing, singing, practicing. I watched the making of the Thriller in just a little one second. And I saw him practicing. How many? I've watched that video before. Thriller. Raise your hand if you have watched it before. Now you're pretending as if you have ended up not watching. And I saw him, you know, when he was walking in front of the girl and jumping into a pet and a white man was teaching him what to do. And I saw that, Charlie, the thing that looks natural, there's a lot of practice in it. Yeah. It's work. To make that kind of music is a lot of work, Amen. So you've got to believe that it's work because when the characteristics of work start to set in, people start to draw back from this ministry. Amen. So what are the characteristics or the features that let us know that this thing is really work? Number one, ministry work has working hours. Amen. Hallelujah. That means that the work that God is going to use us to do, there will be times of the day, end of the week, end of the month that we will have to be available and we will have to get involved in work. Can I have an e-mail from somebody? Amen. If you are ready to work, you can no longer expect to relax on Sundays because Sunday is a day that we are working. It's a working day, working hours. OK, so your work at the bank, you work from Monday to Friday. Is that also nine to five, eight to four, eight to five? What I'm explaining to you is that since this is ministry work, we also as pastors, we work from full time Tuesdays to Sundays. That's the days that we work Tuesday to Sunday. Monday we are off and we are explaining to you that if you are coming to join us as a common man, expect to work from Tuesday to Sunday also but in the Lycos way, but especially on the Sunday which you are also free and then also Saturday and then Friday nights and then evenings. Those are the times you can contribute. So if you are not prepared to be available and to make a way to be available, then you cannot be a layman who is going to work. That's why I'm saying that it is true that he's the common man who is coming to work. But the common man has to understand some things. And the first part of the common man understanding is that many are called, which is encouraging, but the second part is also worrying. It's reality that The thing is work and that you are going to have to put in working hours, Hallelujah, working hour, I mean real time working, working, working, working, working, working and it will be there. You are there, you see that? Where are you wise? I'm at work, I'm at and we are expanding the lay involvement to other areas producing television program. We are now on Metro TV and GTV, but we want to be on TV every day. To make a program every day involves a lot of work every day and the program has to be live. When we are talking live on Wednesday that tomorrow's program is Thursday, we will be talking today is Thursday. And so tomorrow meet me at the Kodesh on tomorrow evening, 6:00 PM. I'll be there. You have to make it takes hours to make that program. And then when the people start calling, another six hours from the time they call her till we finish. So, Charlie, if you're not prepared to join us in the real work, my dear friend, you need to find your way back to the seat of the Barren. The seat of the nun involved. Amen. Come stand here as a favorite. Your handkerchief is falling. Stand here. Watch the watch the rules here for me. Anybody who you see sleeping, you take the person out. And then also, if you don't, you yourself will go. Yeah, you go in place of them. You'll be the the sacrificial. No, you come and stand here, stand here, scan. OK, that's it. OK. When you do that, you wake them up when you shark preach them. Now nobody sitting here should tell me that he knows what I'm saying. The reason why I know that you don't know what I'm saying is because the lay work, the contribution of lay people has reduced from a level of about 90% to a level of about 10% today. That's from my experience what how LED people used to input and how used to they used to work in Lighthouse some time ago. If if that was at level 90 today it has dropped to level 10, Johnny. So don't sit there and think that you know, you have written an exam on this book and you know what is in it already. Your emptiness and your uselessness in ministry proves that you don't really know what it is. It's true. You talk about lay people working. We are talking about people who have their mind to work. In the days when Mina Maranatha and others, Vidya and others were around working. Actually when they work at Collaboo, they'll come, go here, do this fasting, everything moving around. Nobody's paying them working. And today you see people, it's like you are a big shot small Toyota that you bought or this Nissan that you have. That's like you can't do this, you can't do this, you can't do this. You are busy. So everybody is busy. Nobody can care. Everybody is a family person and with their warehouses. But it shows, you see, it's, it's showing in the output. The late person's output has dropped from 90% to 10% and the full time input has risen from 10% to 90%. It's true most of the work is done by full timers today. It's true. Most of the work is is there are few, very few, very few lay people that I can point to that in my life today as a Bishop of this church. There are people that I live on and I depend on that few, if any it's true that I depend on for the ministry. When as some years ago I depended on almost everybody I depended on was a layperson. Anything I wanted to do, I used a layperson. In those days I never used full timers. I didn't have full timers to to how I struggled to get a few full timers. That is why they are very precious to me. One by one like that, your input is almost nil. As laypeople in this Kodesh, when I say worker, I don't mean coming for a pair rehearsal. Let me tell, in every church, there is a choir. In every church like from Ghana to Timbuktu, there is a choir, there is a church. Coming for a pair rehearsal is not work. The fact that you you, the fact that you joined the choir does not mean that you are working. You see what you don't realize. Those people that we called up here to come and give tributes, most of them were just saying good things about the character. But if really anybody supposed to testify of the work you've done, it is the sheep who will come forth and say this person brought me up, this person followed me up, this person made me do, this person helped me to do this. That's not to happen. Not just the pastors either. Who can you say that? Followed up, this person brought me this. What you say is that you say so. We better be praying that that saying is pleasing him. Let us pray that saying is what he wants. Now you may think that you are pleasing Bishop, but in the day of reckoning it may not be so. OK, so when you see a layperson, one day I called a layperson during the lay people's working hours, which was Thursday evening. That time I I form a new Chapel called the Mobile one. What is it called? Premier Chapel that the Premier Chapel. Their work was to go around Premier Mobile Chapel. They don't have local members. They just move, move around, visit. I called him around 8:30. I said where are you? So I thought you say well I'm in somebody's house visiting somebody. They say I'm in the office and I said look at someone. He is not doing the work because that's the working hours. I expect him to be at post. That's I said if you are going to work for God, I don't mean itinerary has, I mean you will be working Sunday the whole day. You are you will not see the afternoon sunshine in your house again because that Sunday afternoon is the best work is the prime time we have prime time is the prime time for the layman. Sunday afternoon you'll be found at work, visitation, praying, doing this, whatever, not coming for coming for a rehearsal. Thank God for your rehearsal. But I want you to know that in every church, from Anglican, Methodist, Catholic, what everybody has for our rehearsal, it's nothing. It's not work, it has no work. Are you listening to me #2 Ministry work consumes a large amount of time. You cannot claim to be doing the work of God until it consumes a large amount of your time. You cannot claim to be working. You can't claim to be in the church, but you cannot claim to be working until it takes a large amount of your time. You used to work at where? Confonacci Hospital. How many hours was it taking of your time? Calculate quickly. I want another World Bank. How many hours of your time does World Bank take? Mondays. You go there on Mondays. Stand up. You go there on Mondays. Tuesdays. Wednesdays. Thursdays. Fridays. Saturdays. No. Sundays, No. Oh, very good. OK, so Monday, What time? 8 hours. 8 hours From what time to what time? From 9:00 to 5:00? Nine to five? Eight hours. So how many hours a week? 4040 hours, Sister. You work at which place? Buck Race. How many hours do you work at Buck race? Only 40. You don't do extra time. Hey, now, your work is good. Oh, no extra time. 40 Exactly. When the time bell goes on, you work out? No, not really. I mean, one hour, 2 hours sometimes. Sometimes extra. Because those who really prosper, they work for 12 hours a day. Yeah. Anybody who works 8 hours a day doesn't really prosper. You've not read it before. The ground has been cast, so it doesn't easily yield something. So when you just work for 8 hours, you not get much. Regular 8 hours, you not get much out of the ground. How many hours you work as a doctor? Depending on the day, but I used to work every day from Monday to Sunday. Sometimes 12 hours, sometimes it could be there for about 15 hours, sometimes 8 hours, sometimes 24, sometimes 24 hours, sometimes even 36, sometimes even 36. So one of the characteristics of work is that it takes a lot of time. So until they start to tell you why you always going to church, you are probably having started working for God. And then until somebody makes a phone, you are always in church, probably having also started working. And until you spend a lot of time doing what you are suppose Perry has a how many hours? Two hours. That's that's not working once a week, two hours. You tell your bank, you come to a Catherine standard. You tell your bank, call the manager. What is his name? Mr. Dan Ben What Debra, tell him you are coming 2 hours a week. Will he accept you? Only two hours? No. What bank would they accept you? No, no, no. Two hours a week. You just come. Two hours? No, no, no. It didn't work at all. Then why do you call? Why? Why would they accept you? Because it, it doesn't even constitute even a day's work. And yet you come when you come and you say how I love you, Lord, how I have worked for God. The people who are amazed me most are those who read scriptures on Sunday morning, that it gives them a feeling that they have done something for God. Those who read scriptures on Sunday and we have stopped doing that thing. No, but even the fact that it makes somebody feels that he has worked by reading a scripture on Sunday, that he has worked for God, I'm amazed. Look, all the things I'm telling you are true. It may sound hard, but it is true. Why should you think you have worked for God? When you climb the stage and you read a scripture, it's an honor that you have not worked for God. It's an honor to read a scripture in the church. That is all. You have been given an honor and you have taken the honor, but you haven't worked for God. But when you come there, you sit down and say, oh, I'm so thankful I'll be able to do this for the Lord. I'm so thankful I'll be able to do this for the Lord. What have you done for? I've been able to read the scriptures for the Lord. I read Psalm 23 today. I read one verse for 5 minutes, 3 minutes. It is nice if you read the scripture. It's an honor that even the pastor knows you and asks you to come. Thank God for that honor. But don't say you work for God. Don't say I'm so thankful I'll be able to do something for the Lord. I've done the work of God for two minutes. Go to your office and tell them you will come for two minutes to read something there and leave and tell me later that you are working there. They'll give you a dirty slap and threw you out of the window. Don't tell me that you know this. You don't know it. If you knew it, you would do it. You don't know it, You don't know it. Layman. Mr. Lycos, you've been shouting that you have been called your this in your difficult circumstance. You are this, that what and what? Again the hand of the media. And I cry. You have been called. You have been double dreams, you have received whatever you don't have miracle power, you are going to work for God. Now let us look at the team practically. Let's look at the team practical. Let's see what's your contribution. What's your contribution in terms of time. Let's see how many hours you are spending following somebody to his house to, to, to call like that guy, that guy said that she always called me who said that somebody? Are they, are they cool? They said what his ship said. She called me, visited me, encouraged me make sure I came for meetings. Show me that you show me the hours. When you show me the hours, then I'll then you can join me and say we are all working for God. Then I hope, I hope, I hope you hand in hand car. I will say let's go together. We are all working. Not that I'm working. You are playing for two minutes, I'm working. You are reading scripture for two minutes, I'm working. You are doing rehearsal. That is done by Methodist, Catholic, Pentecostal, Apostolic, everybody does it. And you say you are like us and you are working for God because of rehearsal that you came. Don't bring yourself this evening. When I get you right now, it will not be easy for you. Work and spend your time. Then I will join hands with you and say that I am working and He is and we together. We all did the work of God in Accra in the year 2009. Do put the hours in then I'll accept it. Until then I cannot accept you as a worker. I accept you as a member and VNP. Very nice person, very loving person and very what remorseful VRVRP. Very remorseful person and very what? Very affable VAP, very affable person. VSP, very smiling person, VBBP very bouncing back person. But don't tell me that you are working. How does that song go? Don't take it, don't take it, sing it. It's like you do this, do this, do this, do this, but don't take it, Sing it. I say everything, but don't say you are working. You say what I'm saying. Lord, don't take your joy from me, Lord. You can reprove me. You reprove me. Just reprove me whatever you do, Lord. Don't take your joy from me, Lord. You can annoy me, Annoy me, Appoint me. You can choose me. You can use me. Whatever ever you do, Lord, don't take your joy from me. Whatever you do, whatever you do, Lord, don't take your joy from me. Whatever you do, whatever you do, Lord, don't take your joy from me. Aha, now let's go to version 2. Whatever you do, don't say you are working for God. Don't say why you don't come and work, why you don't put it 8 hours, whatever you can. Say you are an airway, say you are NDC, say you are NPP, say you are from France, say whatever you do, don't say that you are working for. Don't say what? Don't say you are working when you are not spending hours. Don't say you don't claim it. Don't deceive yourself like deceiving yourself. Don't say you don't say you are one of the workers. Don't deceive yourself. Don't say anything, but don't say that one day a sister, she, she, she, she told her husband, she was accusing her husband of this, this, this, this, this, that. Then later on I wrote to her and I said, what is the problem? This, that and so on. So when they finished, they said then I said, oh, I wrote a letter and I said about you have not mentioned those things that you said that your husband is this your husband is bad Is this is this is. Then she wrote, she said, oh, she didn't say that her husband is bad when she when she said that, she didn't say that. Then myself came. You understand why yourself came, that you're the human being came out. So myself came and I wrote to her. I said that you can say anything, but don't say that you didn't say that. That is what your husband is. That's what you said. Yeah, you can say anything. Say you are on the moon, say you are flying now, say you are doing it, but don't say that you babysit. That's what you said and that's what I'm saying. You can say you are being rehearsal, say that one. You can say that you have joined this group, but don't say you work for God because once you have not put a certain number of hours. Please, I beg you, don't say it. Don't say it. You can say you bounce back, but don't say that you are a wrecker. You may be remorseful, but don't say. Sing it. You come working for God whatever you do. Whatever you do. Don't say you're working for God whatever you do. Whatever you do, don't say you're working for God. Whatever you do. Whatever you do, don't say you're working for God. You can be the scriptures be come for rehearsals, be nice, be your father, man. Whatever you do, don't say you're working for God. Come for rehearsals, be the scriptures, be nice, be your father. Whatever you do, don't say you're working for God. Whatever you don't do, whatever you do, don't say you're working for. No, no, no, no, no, no. Whatever you do, don't say you're working for. Put yours together. All right? Why Don't say don't? Say it. Say. Don't say, don't say it and don't say. Don't say, Don't say, Don't say, Don't say, Don't say. Don't say. Don't say, Don't say, Don't say, Don't say. Whatever, whatever, whatever you do, don't say. You're waking football. No, no, no, no, no, no. Whatever you do, don't say your. Wedding one more time. Whatever you do, don't say your wedding. Whatever you do, say something else, but don't say that you are now. While arriving, check for more than 8 hours you have been spent a certain amount of time. You come for one service and you go Don't want to finish with God as by 8:30 on Sunday morning, lest God should make the mistake of taking more of your time. Never, never, never. Never. Don't say never. Don't think it. Never don't imagine. Never. Don't even do that. Never. Whatever you don't say your own weapons for God. Sit down #3 Ministry work expends energy and money. Energy. You'll be tired. Amen. You'll be tired when you work for God. As I'm preaching, I'm tired. You see, there's tiredness. If you don't get tired, you have not worked. Ah, sister, sister, are you tired? When you go to the work, do you get tired? Oh, you are always to give her. What time do you wake up in the morning to go there? Five. And then what time are you at the office? By what time do you leave home? By what time I, I get to work at 9:09. But before you used to get to work at what time at 6:00 because of where I was leaving and where I was working because of where you used to leave home at six. When I, I was at High Street, I used to leave home at 5:15. 5/15 That's eight. And then you come to the work and you get to the work at what time? 6 AM, 6:00 AM at a bank and you close at what time? 565 S 5515 to six. You are there. Then you there, you leave at six. When you leave at six, what time do you get home? 8, seven, 38738 That's it. Then you know that you are working. Then you know that you are working. You have spent time and energy. Energy and money. Petrol, isn't it? Yes, yeah. Those of you who came here, you are working and we, we want this in some transportation. Money to go for follow up, follow up here and visitation. Money for our cars. We want money for our fuel in our car. When you go to work, don't you buy fuel? I'm asking you a similar question that is frank and open. When you go to work, do you buy? Do you use money to go to? I use money. Why is it that when you are working for God don't want to use money to go for visitation? Or you want us to pay for the ties, your car ties that are getting old or your carburetor or the timing belt? Have you located anybody with such a mind, Pastor Fabin, have you seen anyone with such a thinking When you are going for visitation or you are going to do the work of God, you want us to give you money to come to church. So the church has got a lot of money. So the church should bring some some money. The church will bring some money. Now you don't understand what you are doing. Why don't you come and work full time so that we pay you, that we know that yes, you are working in the church sound control, that you are doing that one too. We have to pay you. You see, those of you who are doing the sound control, stand up one Max is also there. You stand up, sit down. You see these guys are full timers. You see that? That shows the shame. That's how the delay work has degraded. Medical student girls used to do this work. Girls used to do this work. Girls, little little girls we're doing this way, but now you see full time with employment salary this we have to buy a car for him this accommodation also look at adjusting this time because the LED people MFA big shot. That's why you see let us you see that you will never prosper because you can't work for God. Thank you, Malachi. Let me show you something. Malachi Chapter 3 Malachi chapter 3, verse 13. Your words have been arrogant against me, says the law. Yes, you say, Yes, you say, what have we spoken against you? You have said, you have said in your heart, if you haven't started with your mouth. It is vain to serve God, It is vain to serve God. And what profit is it that we have kept his charge, and that we have worked in mourning before the Lord? So now we call the arrogant blessed, and not only are the doers of wickedness built up, but they also test God and escape. Then those who fear the Lord spoke to one another, and God gave attention and had it. A book of remembrance was opened before him for those who fear the Lord and those who esteem His name. They will be mine, says the Lord of hosts, on the day that I prepare my own possession, and I will spare them, as a man spares his own son who serves him. Those of you who say that it is vain to serve God, it is useless to serve God. Verse 18 So you will again, again God is prophesying to us. You will again distinguish between the righteous and the wicked, and between the one who serves God and the one who does not serve him. The time is coming again that you would distinguish between the one who serves God and the one who does not serve God. Yeah. Those of you have said in your mind, in your heart, it is vain. It's useless to serve God. Why let me go and do my own business and all that. It's why should I waste my time on this check when I when I close, when I close early from where they will not promote me. I should close early and come and do visitation. I come and do chef. I don't real work. Am IA fool. It is useless to serve the God. To serve God. You have said it in your heart. That is what the lay people have said that has for the lay ministry. They are selling the other. It is useless. Let me rather go and do my course in the evening. Let me go to Central University, let me rather go to Gimpa and do other causes and other things. It is useless to serve the Lord. God said, you have said it, so you have been arrogant against me. God said you. OK, we will see. You will now again distinguish between the one who serves God and the one who doesn't say God. That's why you don't prosper, because in your heart you have said to yourself, it is useless. It is useless to be a quarry star. It is useless to be an usher. It is useless to do something. It's useless to come and spend energy and sweat. That's why we have to do employ cleanness. Is it not Bible students who do it? If it's not for the Bible study, there will be no late people in the church who will be ready to come early and come and clean the church because you have said in your heart that it is vain. It is useless to serve God. There's no, there's no benefit in it. We have served God all these years. We have paid tight all these years. There's no benefit in it. It is the pastors who are prospering monkey. They work papu the job. The bishops are chopping the money as we are paying the tax and we are struggling. We are the ground troops. Your face like a God will make your face like an Ant. You wait and see when take a picture of an Ant and see how your face is going to become. Your words have been arrogant against me, says the Lord. Verse 13, Malachi chapter 3, verse 13. Everybody knows this chapter for tithing. It's a chapter for the working, working for God. A lot of people have despised the record. They feel that it's not worth if they felt this was worthy. Look at how people who are not, they are not in power. They are not in power. They have jobs. How they work for NPP, how they work for NBC. Foot soldiers, foot soldiers as lay people. Come on, man. They'll be doing sacrifices going here. We have them in our church, some of the most dormant people in the church doing nothing. Then you see activists, NBC activists, NPP activists, you can't organize this. It's not only money that people give to politics, they people give themselves. You see people, I say this code, are there not people who contribute nothing to the church tight all their time or their enemy? But when it comes to politics time you see them, right? So the person is going here, he's going here, he's doing this, he's doing this. Do we not have such people in the church? See their polling agent. They are this, they are done. We are delegates with a passion, because you have said in your heart it is vain to serve the Lord. Look at it, verse 13. Your words have been arrogant against me, says the Lord. Yet you say, what have we spoken against you? You have said it, it is vain to serve God. What prophet it is. Is it that we have kept His charge, and that we have walked in mourning before the Lord of hosts? So now we call the arrogant blessed. And not only are the duers of wickedness built up, and they also test God and escape. Then those who fear the Lord spoke to one another. The Lord gave attention and had it. A book of remembrance was written before him. For those who fear the Lord and esteem His name. They will be mine. There's a song like that. They shall be mine, says the Lord. On that day I will prepare my possession and I will spare them as a man spares his own son who serves him. You know, one day a time will come when God will spare your life because you save him. He says As a man serves, spares his own son, who serves him. Wow, God will look at you and he should have punished you, but he will spare you because you serve him. He says As a man spares his son who serves him, he spares him. I spare you, I spare you, I spare you because you served me. So you will again distinguish between the righteous and the wicked, and between one who serves God and one who does not serve him. In this church you will see, because every church has the anointing. The anointing here is the anointing to serve the Lord, and that anointing is the same anointing that brings prosperity. I'm telling you, there are many, many lay people who have served the Lord and I've been blessed serving the Lord as lay people away from before we were even a church. That's that's where the blessing is. If you want the blessing, this is not a prosperity church. The is a serving God church. The serving God is what releases the prosperity. Yeah, that's he does the secret. It's like Cain and Abel. Abel, he just had one thing. Just take his things, offer the lambs and the goats. But Cain had two steps. So maybe there's some church there, prosperity churches when you are there. No, you just prosper. I don't know. But our church, you need 2 steps. You need to work for God. And you will prosper. Matthew 633 Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and his writer. All these things, all of these things, they will all be added to. Yes. Look, many of the pastors today who are late pastors, even especially many of them who are outside the country, many of them have served here. If prosperity is going to America or prosperity is going to England or prosperity, then they are prosperity. If that is prosper, which a lot of us see as prosperity, many of them prosperity have become their lives are decent. If that is prosperity, they have prosperity working in the house and those who didn't ever put their foot down and say let me work. You can't even locate them. It's true. Yeah, if they just sort of disappear. So please, that is the blessing that we have. And the police, from time to time, you look this way as well. This, this time. And then this side and this side, Yeah. And so from time to time, you walk down and check that from the barrier to the back halfway, halfway line. You say it is useless. It is vain to serve the law. It's an awesome way. It's a bad thought. But how many realize that? He said thought that is in the minds of a lot of people. It is useless to serve God. It is useless. Do you know that lay people have been advising people who want to come full time that they shouldn't come full time? Yeah, even to join the Bible school they should do what what is sub one, sub two OK, rather than going to the Bible school. Yeah, it is vain to serve the Lord. It's in a lot of people's mind. Some of the secretaries that and others that work for me, they were do I coming all that work for me 6 years every year when they were come they were advised by lay pastors. No, no, no, no, no, don't do it. Advise by lay pastors and they shouldn't come. The things I'm saying, there are no jokes in them. I will inform you when the jokes start. The joking part starts. They're all real examples. I can mention names and examples. All right. OK, good, good. Have you located any stray? What's the next characteristic of? If you found them sleeping, as I bring them to the front, Messi, give him a chair so that you can keep an eye on him. From here. This message continues on the next track. Keep listening.
