One of the important things to do with church services for all of us. Well, how does it apply to you is a question you must ask. I think that is the main question we just should be asking. So I prepare and organize myself in such a way that I have to be able to communicate what exactly I'm expecting from the people. I mean, I'm expecting the people to do to them so that, for instance, if it's a teaching service, it doesn't end up maybe as a miracle service because the idea is that I want to teach the people. So it helps you stay focused. I mean, maybe me personally, it helps me stay focused so that because you can actually enter into the church and then end up doing different things. Good. I think that is the. Is that not the so for survive, you understand? So when the purpose is there, it always guides you re guides you, guides you again, gives you midstream corrections. That's when you always have a papers. So that's why if I'm having a crusade and I have poor people saved, you understand I'm trying to let the people be saved. OK. And then I go to a place and then I have, I want more people to be saved. And when I do crusade for five years in a certain way, I have 1,000,000 people saved. And when I change the way I'm doing the crusade, in one crusade, I have 1,000,000 people saved. Then if that is my purpose, should I not change the way I'm doing it so that my purpose will be achieved more? Yeah. So if I'm doing it and I'm becoming famous, but I'm not achieving my goal of winning the soul, but I'm becoming famous, then the goal has changed. I'm becoming famous. More people are hearing of me, but my purpose is no more being accomplished, which was to win souls. So I have to stop that famous aspect and then concentrate on the path that is not famous but is getting the soul saved. OK. All right, gentlemen, you can be seated. No, maybe you practically, you apply to yourself this this point. See, if you take the point in the book and apply it practically, what do you do? How? How will it change it? Yes, for instance, I, I realized that like like for instance, last week I, I, I said, I said it a series and the purpose of this of that series was that I realized that the way people think about where they are, what's in good is like they cannot they can't make it where they are. So I decided OK, then I want to start a series that will kind of know help them to renew their mind at whatever. You are talking about the purpose of your teaching, the purpose of that message, but now I'm talking about the purpose of the service. Yes, there's a reason to teach the people the teaching service, service type of papers. So I don't do, I don't, I don't pray for people. I don't do anything other than than what I want to teach. Taking from John 21, I think that 3 levels of feeding feed my lamb, that's the Bosco and also Puemeno. So the purpose is those who come for the first service, they are not really committed. So the teaching is not as solid as the second service, those who come for the main service. So the first service people have been fed to be permanent and the test service is the leaders, those the lay ministers who have started branches and other workers who come from where they are. So that one also they are being taught to reproduce. So they are all teaching services with different empathies. Yeah, with different. Commitments. The purpose of the Sunday service is not so much to teach, but just to preach. Just to nature, the people you know, just. Preach and then. And then the purpose of the Tuesday service is a teaching service where it's more relaxed. I give points. It's. Orderly. You know, because of the kind of people who come for that service, because and then the Friday service is more prayer, spiritual, you know, warfare. OK, I think some purposes are being missed out seriously on for Sunday, Pastor Richard. Well, OK, David, the. Purpose of all Sunday services to attract face timers. So what we do is to make it comfortable for those who come in to be able to stay in the service. So we provide other things like song sheets, screens to be able to enjoy the service. So it's not like teaching, teaching, teaching. It's more like preaching for them to be able to enjoy it and also really to the the church. So that's the main. Purpose for your purpose for Sunday service. OK, so you see when your purpose is for first timers and new people to be welcomed, you will start changing some things because you realize that the way this one is, newcomers don't stay. So you see in the book the principle. That's why I talk about reading a small part. You see, yesterday I read all these points and we went home. Do you know why? Because I felt tired when I saw the point. Because I knew that this point can last for two hours, this one can last for one hour, this one can last for one hour. I know it. So I immediately felt tired and I read all and said let's go and sleep. Do you get it? So that's what the point I'm making is that we are holding the books. But meditation, you see the Bible talks about the one who meditates, you see, is the one who is going to have the blessing. Bible says then you shall prosper. Is that over the vessel? How does this go, Joshua, this book of the Lord shall not depart. You meditate day and night. Yeah, yeah, people who don't meditate do not obey what is in the thing, as you can see, because of a lack of thinking or meditating on it, we don't even do so that thou mayst observe to do all that is written. So obviously as we go through, you can see that because we have failed to pause and to think and to think. You see, like today we've paused yesterday we read it and say, OK, we've got and when you all are going to go, yes, we know this. Oh yes, this one. OK, yeah, maximize this. What is this press dynamic service? Well, I asked all of you have that and Oh yes, we, we and so on. So obviously we we do not know because we didn't stop to meditate on just only this dynamic church service path and only the first part of that first point which is now bringing out things. Now if the aim is to be attracting new people, then you ask yourself, when they come and they are singing, do they know the words in your church? They don't know the words. Obviously, you have to think about it. What one of the aims of the Sunday service is to collect tithes. That is why that church in Paris which invited me said that I should not come at that time. We are going to collect our tithes. Yeah. So any chair is like a farmer who doesn't know the time that he harvests. You're not serious when you don't know. This is my cocoa season and I'm going to harvest this Sunday. You see a pastor must think that way, especially the people are paid monthly because the check does not charge gate fees. Do you understand to maintain the church and to carry on you need tithes, especially tithes. And if you if you have the mind, this is tithe Sunday. Every Sunday we give tithe, but this one we are collecting tithes. Everybody the totally a culture because it takes a culture to persist in a commandment and until that thing has become a culture, it does not persist and it does not stay in the people. That's why Wesley Girls is a good school, not because they have good instructions, but the instruction has been repeated over and over until it has become a culture. So when you go to the school, you learn how to walk as a lady, you learn how to sit. If you see a Wesley, nobody went to Wesley. Girls just watch their legs. You see how they sit and watch a girl who didn't go to that school and see how they sit like that. I'm not saying anything bad about you, I'm just saying something that I've seen. I can see them. I can actually see the scooter. A lady went by how she sits. It's true. Now that they even open their legs wide in a wheel or in an obscene wheel, but they still, there is a certain way they really struggle. But with Wesley Girls people, they have a way. They learn it and they sit that way. Leo, did you go to Wesley Girls? Yeah, you see, Just look at her. I see sitting. This is her relax. And without, I mean any consciousness, this is how they sit. Look at her legs. And they sit upright, they sit upright and they sit with their legs together. It's something that is part of them. So you can almost see a lady from the from the school. They almost know the school that I've watched them all. And when I see, because when I asked her, I really know that whether she went to was together when I saw her said I said it is one. What I'm saying is that when the culture of tithe collection you see is established, just like how you have many churches have communion on a particular day, this on a particular day, those things, it becomes a culture. And people, especially as they get older, they like something that is a culture. You have to collect tithes every Sunday, but today's tithes, you know, and then you take the one day I went to preaching a church, this type of Group B churches. I think it was in South Africa, Rhema College Church. Then they told me, you know, today's whatever and we are going to receive our tithes. So there's going to be whatever was. So they do and you say that it's something every service, they repeat the same words. So your tithes, your this, this, this, this or whatever. And then they collect it. I mean everything. They have a standard. They do those things, you know. So I, I think that you must know what is the purpose, you see. And I think that to teach is a good purpose to welcome, visit and have more new people, so much at home in the church, you understand. And then to collect your tithes, you understand is a very important thing. Because if you have sheep, you must have a day to share the wool of them. There's a day to collect the milk is part of it. And if you don't collect the milk from the breast, it gets swollen and even you can become infected. So it's not as though you are doing something bad when you don't collect the ties and the people finances become swollen and it becomes infected and it can get spot and the whole person can become some way. So tithing is very, very important. Or somebody who will see your sheep walking by and say, let me take some of the milk. Are you listening to me? Yeah. So you see we have just paused for meditation at .18 out of seven and suddenly you have revelation that is related to you personally but reading. So that's why people say read. If you look at my books, you see a lot of markings. You read personally, I don't read a lot actually. I think to tell the truth, I think I meditate a lot on small sections. Not, not because I'm not. The reason why I did maths in schools was I do not like reading subjects. Do you understand? I did. I mean I was good in maths. The reason why I did biology was because everybody who did maths bombed in my school. But I did not like the subject that you read a lot. In fact I could never. I was doing exam and I was with some people who are doing history and what literature Not at all. So what is this and subject that you write continuous. You don't know which is the point they are looking for. You're just discussing to make an impression on somebody. I found it so difficult. Tell me the points that you want. These are 6 points and I give them to you and then you know that I've studied another. Discuss. Ties should be collected on Sundays. Discuss. So brothers and sisters, the point that I'm trying to share with you this morning is that you must have a purpose and you must stop to meditate on a small section. Practically that applies to you. Amen. And I have found perhaps the best midstream corrector for life is purpose of something, because it is easy to go slightly of course, and sometimes in a major way, of course, very, very easy. But then you have to ask yourself, why are we doing this? Why? Why are we here? Do you see why are we here? And that is what the Navy developed, the term steadfast. Steadfastness means the ability to stay on course and the ability to come back to the course when you have gone astray, when you have deviated. It's, it was a term in the Navy. In the Navy they developed a word. It's not an English word, Steadfast, they understand. Steadfast was not a word in the dictionary, but it was a word that the Navy and the sailors used to describe the ability of a captain or a navigator to keep the ship on a particular course. Now you would not understand that until you go on a ship to know how vast the sea is, that the sea is something so dangerous that if you do not get your directions right, you will die on the ship. Because for instance, when I was going from South Africa flying to Sydney one time I was going to visit Peter in Australia. We took off from Johannesburg and we flew for 14 hours at a speed of about 1000 kilometers per hour, OK. And for 12:12 to 13 hours of that, we were on water. We were not, we were not crossing any land. That is why the Air France that recently fell into the sea, they cannot find the people because they were over the deep blue sea. And the deep sea is as deep as how the high mountains are that go up in the sky is deep down. We go down 5 miles, 5 miles means that like from here to Alumina Castle or from here getting to Capo downwards only water and it's so deep that even a normal submarine cannot go down. They said that when they find the black box or whatever they are looking for at the submarine which France Navy came there to look for, the plane cannot go. It has the level to which it can go. And then they would need a special robot, robotic unmanned submarine to go down. Yeah, because it did not come up from the pressure and the darkness, because as you go down a little by about here, there's no light. And as you go down and down it's totally black. And this is the sea so wide that you can fly this way at a speed of 1000 kilometers, 900. The speed ranges. The fastest plane have been is Malaysian Airways. They were going over 1000 and something kmh, but usually they go around 958-5900, nine, 2950. But the fastest plane I've been in is Boeing 777 Malaysia Air. As we were crossing through Asia, you see that we were 1000 and something. We were just flying. So if you are in a boat, I'm explaining, I'm explaining steadfast. I'm not, I'm not just perambulating or saying thanks. You see, some people, some people were talking about my preaching. They said, oh, we're just talking, he talks a lot and so on. So just all that part, as you come to point #1 all the parambulations have a meaning. It is your IQ, your, your, your, your intelligence must catch it. Yeah, there's a purpose for it. I am explaining that. Therefore, if you put a ship which is driving at a speed of 40 kilometers per hour on the water, that's 1000 kilometers per hour. This way it takes you 12 hours before you see land. Then you must know that you must be in great danger if you are misdirecting the boat even for a short while. Because what people don't realize is also something. This is also not a parambulation. I saw a certain boat on the Congo river and they were filming. I watched the whole documentary, Kinshasa Bongo River, how they go and there was, they interviewed the guy and the guy was complaining they can stay on the boat sometime for days because the river is very wide. And as he was talking, a pig was passing and was pushing him. I think you know the world city, they sleep, they're open like that flat African boat. And he said the people don't treat us well on the boats. They mix animals and human beings together. Now in the olden boats you have to take animals, live, live goats, live pigs to slaughter for meat. There's no French. So when you are watching the stars to tell you this place is not, you better watch it very well because the cows, the goats you have brought will finish. The pigs that you have on board will finish, the chickens will finish, and the water will finish. Now, you have misdirected us this way and this way. Is that 12 hours, 1000 kilometers per hour direct, but just slightly this way. There's an island there. We can get water just slightly like this. Yeah. So the ability to stay on course. So the service also needs purpose. What is the purpose of your Tuesday service? Now if the purpose of Sunday service is to attract visitors and you are having three hour wind blowing service, it's not going to be very useful for you. Today's generation, they don't have time for anything. So if if if you keep your service too long, they're going to lose everybody. Amen. OK. So please don't forget every service and its purpose. Purpose. If you are in Nigeria, Pastani, you must speak this way. Purpose. Do not speak like a Ghanaian. Yeah, speak like a Nigerian. How much time have you allotted for each service? Amen. That is why there must be a clock where you can see when you are preaching, not the people to see. Don't put a clock for them to see the time. It's very bad. Put a clock where you see but don't make a clock for them to see. What type of meeting place do you have? Amen. Now again, if you play golf, you where there's a good golf course you find it will even help to refer. That's one of the things that would have helped Brother James refinement. Do you see? Because in the golf course, like how undressed you are not allowed. You have to tuck in. It's not allowed. It's dead rules for dressing. You cannot dress anyhow. You cannot. There are rules. You cannot wear a shirt AT shirt like round neck stand up. Alex. You cannot wear this to play golf. It's not allowed. You cannot wear jeans on a golf course. You cannot wear jeans. That alone will reveal to you that jeans is a certain level of dressing. You cannot wear certain shoes. You cannot put the cap on and turn it back, turn the cap backwards. It's not allowed. So you you will be forced to be a certain kind of gentleman. Even your casual dressing will be forced into a certain gentlemanly perspective. Yeah, you see, there's so many effects on it. You'll be forced to relate with some people, you see. And so all these different things guide you, but you don't know that you are being refined because only a certain type of people that will play that game. The rest will stay back and say, oh, those rich people. Oh, those people. Oh, the white people, the whites. But those rich people, you really need them also. Yeah. And let me tell you, those who play, after playing for some time, they look down on people who don't play. It's true because they look and they realize that there's a certain refinement that they have failed to perceive and to grasp and discipline. It's true most Ghana girls don't play Ghana girls. Do you know Ghana girls? Not Ghanaian girls or Ghana girls. They don't play. They want to sit down, eat somebody's food, somebody who has cooked. They don't want to walk and then they want to chat. That's all. Yeah, If we can chat, why should we walk? Ghana Girls. So, my dear friend, all these things will help you. Amen. What type of meeting do place? How do you present yourself? So the next time I went there, I knew about that room. So when I was going. So inside there was some room. No problem. Let's go. So a lot of things that you see are improvements. Amen. When Michael Jackson died, they went for a spokesman, somebody who was then leaked the information. Because when you are, they do a postmortem. You lie there naked in front of everybody who comes for that postmortem. They slice you into all kinds of pieces. But one of the things that they said was that they were amazed at the scars on his face and that he was almost totally bald. Yeah, the guy that you see with the sunglasses, with the long hair, with the face, all his makeup, as I mean improvement, I mean all the girls. You see, when I married, one of my surprise, when my wife was going to the hairdressing saloon, I didn't understand fully what they were doing. It was later that I found out that all the ladies are monsters. When they were born, their hair was just like a boy's hair. I didn't know that, though. Did you know that? I thought that when your hair is Born This Way, you are born with this type of hair, and we were born with the other type of hair. Don't know that. It's a chemical that they put into their hair. And if that is not a sin and you are all doing it, then it means that you are enhancing whatever you came with naturally. Yeah, without even thinking about it, every time you try to enhance it a little. So there's nothing wrong with enhancing your appearance a little. Do you get it with any keys or strategies that you may discover? Only that it is unusual to you for somebody to put on makeup when he's going to preach because you don't know it, huh? It's not no money or circle. But all the girls in our world, they do it to me. I always thought that they were born with it. I never knew that it was an unnatural. It's an enhancement, enhancing a little. And I'm sure most of us brothers, we are happy that they do their hair. I mean, if they were not to do their hair, it would be worse than it is.
