13. The Purpose Of The Word In the House

Welcome to track #13 of warnings of purpose. All right, the purpose of the word in the house, you have a lot of purposes now, I'm sure you realize that you are virtually ready to go home, isn't it? Oh, what again? Do you want to hear more? Revelations chapter 3, chapter 3, verse one. Until the Angel of the church in service writes he that has the seven spirits of God and the seven stars. I know by work that thou hast the name, that thou livest and are dead. Be watchful and remain. Strengthen the things which remain that are ready to die, for I have not found thy works perfect. Amen. For unto whom much is given of Him much shall be required, and of to whom men have committed much of him they will ask the more. For the Lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for Him. And that servant which knew his Lord's will, and prepared not himself, Verse 47 Neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. So the servants of the Lord, who know His will, shall be beaten with many stripes. Look, judgment, that is why I say judgment. You can't tell how it's going to be because some people don't know much and their judges will be according to what they know. But those who know much will be beaten with many stripes. You see, for instance, there is something that I expect of Pastor Emarus that I wouldn't even expect of let's say Pastor Jimmy who has been in Geneva also, because Pastor Emaris has worked with me before in the office, but Pastor Jimmy has never had that experience. So there are some things that I would expect of Pastor Emaris that if Pastor Jimmy doesn't know or doesn't do, my response would be a little different because he has never had the experience of living in Ghana and working in the office and being paid a salary and counting the church by the running the finances of the church. He doesn't have that experience. So if there is something I may, I will have a certain expectation of that I wouldn't have. That's why the Bible says that he that knows his masters well, he will have been beaten with many stripes more. Are you listening? OK. Don't be jealous of my dream. Are you there? So you, you must know that when you go to different churches, every church hears something different depending on who the pastor is and what God has laid on the pastor's heart. Now in this church, it has been laid upon our hearts to do the work of the ministry, to do the work of God. So if you've been here and you've been hearing, you are likely to be sort of inclined in that way somehow. Is it not true? You are likely to have heard certain things. And so if you don't do the work of the Lord, your judgment will be different from, let's say, somebody in Church of Pentecost, Assemblies of God, Methodist, whatever, who may have been hearing about holiness, they've been hearing about love, they've been hearing about whatever. They are more loving than we are who may not have been hearing so much about love and they will be beating more for not being loving than us because they've been preaching to you about love every day. We are expecting you to be the most loving Christians on earth because your pastor is every day emphasized. But when you come to Bishop that he was not said he's not emphasizing on love, he's emphasized on doing the work of ministry. So in your case where you are not working so much in love and another church where they are always emphasizing on love and you are not working in love, your stripes in the love church expect 24 stripes, but we in Lighthouse maybe six, we still get that we'll be beaten with fewer. How many understand what I'm talking about? All right, now, God has given us many revelations, including the revelation on Ham. Have you ever heard the revelation on Ham? You've seen the different, different options, different levels of sacrifice, different timings, different days, all those things are they are all true, different clocks, different everything. If you are supposed to be a lay pastor and you become full time, you also you are also going to be, I mean you, you will be taken up seriously by the Lord because I have given the purposes of the lay ministry and you know much, much more. How many churches have the pastor written a book? If he's written, maybe he's written one book and maybe it's not even in relation to what he's preaching. No, I'll say that part again. Maybe it's written a book, but it's not even in relation to what he's preaching. So if you are in the church, the book may be something different or something else and they are preaching a different thing. Here you have books available in Topics. Don't say we are not allowed to ask the Holy Spirit to, to, to know which book to preach. You see, don't be silly. You don't understand what I'm saying. So for your church, if you want it because you come, I see pastors, you should use your money to to help the church. I've used my church and my personal money, personal things, family properties all through the years, all up to today. I always use what I my own list in jail because when the church works, at the end of the day, I also benefit that the church works. So I don't see the even when I was a layperson, when I was a layperson, I'm not even paid by the church or get any benefits. It was my church, my personal sound system that we use in the church. My personal sound system, my father's desk, my days, my mother wear things all the time. My family's money. Yeah, my father's office, no one has ever paid rent. Command your bladder muscles to reduce the pressure and expand in the name of Jesus. Amen. The purpose of the word is that you should become a disciple. John 831 Jesus said to those Jews which believed on him, If you continue in my word, then are you my disciples indeed? Amen. Are you there number 2? The purpose of the Great Commission was to make you into a disciple. Amen. And Jesus came and speak unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and earth. Go. Ye therefore teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you, and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. The Great Commission is actually not an evangelistic Commission, it's actually a teaching Commission, teaching them to observe not one thing, but all the things. You know, Recently, not so long ago, we have to deal with a Presbyterian senior minister on some issues. And at a point he made a comment. He said, I've never seen anybody who has written on such a wide range of different subjects. There's an outsider, a senior theologian. But you see, this is what I'm saying, that I wish you become more greater disciples of the teachings that we have in the House. Amen. What do you think? You don't think it's the case? Why? Why is it not the case? How do you know it's not the case? Take a microphone. Hold up. Why? Because of the case I mean. As we have been here with all cynics, the basic things of the doctrines that we have, the things that have been written even when our churches are not working. You see a pastor who has a church that the attendance graph is like this, you know, and there's a mega church book there. There are other books, you know, backsliding the rest that you can use. I mean, study it yourself and preach from it. And we are not able to do it. So as we are speaking now, I think that that is the case, that we have not become disciples because we ourselves have not made use, studied them, gotten into them, and for those materials become part of us first and foremost for our own ministerial development, DC and then even. Applying them during the Champlain. We ask application questions just ministry related. You are in such a situation, which book just take one of these will bring all the books here. You know take the take one of these books that will answer to this. We are not able to open. Is that not the case, You know, and then we are, we are all saying that now we've realized that we need to study more, relate more of the material. We are now going to do it. We hope that that that will be the case. So the picture now is not good really. So what I'm preaching, is it of any use? Are you sure it's of any use? Because as we are here, we are talking, we are talking, we are talking. I mean, this is not the only camp that we've had. We've had camps, camps, camps. There are camps which are talking about other things which are important. But if you don't listen to it, we are not into the makanen, into the paimano, into the books. You get it. How can you say you are a part of life or a disciple? I don't even know why we've not used the word disciple because I think no one is prepared to be like he's a master. So disciples of who? But that's the point that I'm making, that you say you are a disciple, but you are not a disciple. You are not following. So I how many have decided to become disciples from this camp? Try because you see, God has given me a gift. Oh, I'm telling you, and you should benefit from the gifts. It's not like something that I'm trying to do, but it's a grace. And and you see, let me tell you something about both gifts and money. Gifts and money are not given to everybody. They are given to particular people. And then a lot of people around the person benefit from it. Even with money, how many people have a lot of money? Very few people have a lot of money. And then the few people that have money, a lot of people around them benefit from it. If you look around and see how many people are rich, really rich, but one rich person can cause so many people to have jobs, so many people have things to do, so much employment. And, and you see people, you can try to be rich, try to be rich, try. It's not easy to be rich. That is why one of the greatest keys of prosperity is to be close to somebody who has that gift of money. Listen, you see, that's why I say that you will not be rich because you don't listen to that. But what I'm telling you is a key to be rich and your aim is to be rich apart from other ends. It's one of your childhood dreams. If, if you accept that to be rich is not giving to many people, but by association a lot of things can happen to you, then you would consider association as more important than even what you are doing. Look, if you take me in the ministry, if I take, let's say Youngicho, I cannot say any, I cannot describe any other wiser. Step that I took. Down to become associated with him through my association with him every day. Even as soon as I finish homecoming, the next day I have to leave to Malaysia. You come, you play, then you speak to the businessmen and whatever it's something something 2 days and come back. They'll keep changing the program. Can you come? Can you come with? I'll fly, land your flight, go to an island. I'm going to an island because I went to Yogitong. I will not have such. Keep going to him. The other day I was on the golf course with Yong Kicho and his successor and another man of God. You see him on television For only four of us. We come out of the car. The ladies, Cadiz will hold Doctor Chong to walk to the grass like this. He played and they hold his hand to walk back again. And I'm just watching all these things. What has brought me here? Association is, is the key for most people to get money. You, you, you will not know that it's a prosperity seminar because I've written prosperity, I've written warnings of I've written warnings of people. So you don't know there's money in it. Let let me tell you, I'll say it well, so that you, you, you, you can understand it. If you take 100 people, 90 of them will get money by association. Only 10 can get money by original, get enough money, but the 90 will get by being around to relate whatever. Same thing with anointing. People have some special gift from God. The rest will be from association and being part of it. Some of you, the big churches you have, if you like, you step out of the church and start. Then you see what is the difference? Same principle goes. If you had learned long ago to become friends with certain whatever you would have made all the people that are associated with Bill Gates, they are all millionaires. Oh, you don't know that? Look, anybody that is near somebody that is blessed, I mean even accidents happen for the person to be blessed and accidents will happen is accidentally blessed. That's true. Because if you have second me on a tree with food, an accident forever, some of the food has fallen on you, fallen into your mouth. And it's true in the secular world as well. If you like, look at your hard work. You work work work work work work. Work, work, work, work, work. You only have somewhere to stay, somewhere to eat, somewhere to average. Most of you will not leave anything for your children when you die. They will not only even they will not they will not you will not leave good memories even I mean much more a house. But if you listen to what I'm saying, that's why I I say that even the disciples disciples were not disciples, but from today you will be a disciple of Jesus. I'll say it again, if you have 100 people, 90 or more of the people will get rich by being associated with some kind of person. If they are to ever have something less than 10 would be that either they came into whatever. Yeah, very, very few. So believe it. Are you there? So learn to associate with the right people. Take the right decisions. Roslyn, do you think if you're not associated with me, you, you, you have never gone to Korea? No. So don't be thinking I would have gone. I've I've gone, I've gone anyway. During my retirement, I would have gone. All right, characteristics of someone who has become a disciple. Actually, before I go to the disciple #4 if you do not or I give you OK, the purpose of the word you have received is so that you become, you bear fruits, Amen. Like Parson Temple is saying, many of the churches that don't grow, you have not received the word. It's true. You've not received the word. Some of you receive an old word long ago. You received some revel. That's you are on the old revelation. Yeah, old time something that you have you you realize I'm preaching about loyalty at this camp. Do you know, are you noticing that I'm preaching about loyalty at this camp or what do you think? What do you think it is? It is law or finances or accounting. Is it non loyalty? But you see that there's a difference. Yeah, RSV, it's not stages of this loyalty, it's loyalty. It's not science of this loyalty fully, fully, fully, fully, fully. We are dealing with thiefs madness, This that. Hey, responding, Yeah, see if I you maybe say, oh, loyalty, is that what you want to learn? That is what you would say. Is it loyalty? You say is it loyalty or I have the book, I have the unit. You ask is it loyalty? Danny was Peter as of Bishop? The only thing not is loyalty. You see how you are talking. Know Are you feeling kind of rotten 'cause you think you've been forgotten by the one who said and never won't forget? Maybe your little heart's been making 'cause you feel you've been forsaken and the only thing you know to do is pray. You can worry all the problems if you think you must, but your life she's. Only thinking about learn how. To trust. So give your life to Jesus, Make him your delight come. He can work it out you. Will never get it. Right. You will never get it. And I you're full of apprehension, 'cause you're full of tension, wondering what am I gone? She's thinking. Maybe you feel you've been mistreated 'cause you think that you've been cheated out of something that ought to belong to you. Well, why do you have to worry? Why do you have to cry? God made you win His image. You're the apple of His eyes. So give your life to Jesus and make Him your delightful. He worked it out all right. It's that song, I said. You thought you knew that song so. And how you feeling down and under? And do you start to wander? Well, remember that this must only last a little while, and besides, you look much better if you decide to try to give the life to Jesus. Make Him your delight, to work it out of life. And I. Will not tell you the sound because you do everything already. I will not tell you the sound that she sang because you've read it and you have it in your Bible. I won't tell you. I will not tell you. That is why you need to keep on studying and become if you continue. If you continue. Recently I was fasting and waiting on the load somewhere and I was holding Kenneth Higgins book. I read it from cover to cover. I've read it many times. Then it reached a place and I saw a number in the book and God spoke to me. So important it was for my life. But if I have their mind, I know I had it. I knew it. That's why we get disconnected. Some of you when I see you, I feel disconnected, but some others I see you immediately. I'm connected. You always know someone because when you meet someone you've been talking to, you sort of feel you've been talking to. In fact the person has a severe attitude towards you like we've been chatting. Is it not true? One day I went somewhere, I met all the father were ten of them. I said none of you listen to messages. And then after one of the pastors came to see me say, Bishop, how do you know that we don't listen to this? He said, Bishop, it is true, but how did you know? No, he asked me privately, how do you know it's true? I said, oh, I just know. You see, it's like you are dead. So continuation, continuation. And that's what gives the fruit. Some of our churches are not going because we are not. They are not being pastored by disciples. They are being pastored by mistakenly appointed pastors. They are being passed passed by people who have done pop and pop and SAP but are not really disciples. It's true. And that's why outsiders. Have you wondered why? Some of you have you wondered why I travel to go and preach outside? Do you think it's for money? Maybe you may think so. And I don't blame you and I don't. It doesn't bother me. But when you go to a place like the last time I was in Ukraine, and as I'm sitting there, I'm surrounded after the service, I'm sitting in a big office with the pastors and I'm surrounded by white men all around, white men. And all these white men are telling me this one says your book in Siberia in Russian art of leadership, this and that. Another one is telling me your book is so old in our church because everybody has to read. Another one has 4000 members said everybody in the church has to read Acts of leadership When they introduce in Russia and said that the best ever leadership book that they have ever read is this. You see a completely different reception swallowing. And then you come to your own past and say they are going to preach about lawyers. Unless I'm clever enough to change the title and call it Warnings of purpose. I could have called it loyalty camp. Loyalty. Emphasis on loyalty camp. So is it loyalty again? Is it loyalty again? As for Lighthouse, everything is loyalty. One day I went somewhere and I preached after the pastor said to me, you know, smile. I just took my book and smile. And he said, you know, this is an offering that we're going to give you. When he told me, I said no, no, no, you case too much. You can't. He said please, the value, the value that we place on what you have come to do here. He said to me, it's not before you came we we decided and some of you even your offering, your Galatian sister shows the value. That's so it's just the thought. Then the thought is some way, it's a bad thought. One day a man of God came to preach in our church and the Lord said to me, never give anybody who come to preach less than this amount. When they preach, place a value on the person's ministry. Honor him, please value. Can you believe that I've been invited to go and preach for my model marriage book before when I came to say please just use this book. Can you believe it? So we have never seen a marriage book like this before. Prince, why did you hear that? Pastor, come and tell us you were standing. Where? Which hotel? Yeah, when I came down the Sheraton Hotel, you showed me a man. Yeah, Tell. Us he's a a cell leader in. Yeah, yeah. In Christ's embassy, that's like Christ's church. I didn't know him. We just got him to run a situation and he was trying to help us to organize. Speak out and keep volume. Nobody can hear. Nobody can hear what you are saying. He was trying to help us mobilize security in from Lagos to go. To where we're going. And. He didn't know who were. Or who he was helping us to organize the security for. So. After one week when we returned to Lagos. He came to the church. The Our Church was supposed to bring some policemen there to change over. And when he got? There he saw the pop up stand with bishops picture on it. And he said. Do you know this man? And then the the security guards who were changing over once said, oh, this is the principal that this is the man we are providing the. Security for, he said. What I know we take money again and then I said why? So we use his book Do You Know What? They're Married and Say Yes. So we use the. Book our pastor he. Stands in church and lifts it up. That's a Chris. He lifts us up and he says that every person who is inside of a cell must have it. And so he has been a cell leader for two years. And that's the book they've been using. And he's talking to me now. He asks for all couples he's counseling with the book for them to get married. They're not amazing, but you have it in the house. So that is why I honor invitations to go because when I preached, even when I went to Adelaide in Australia, I had not even started preaching. We were buying the books more. If I bring books to a camp here, that's why we didn't bring any books, Nobody will buy it. When I was going to Kenya for a camp, my secretary who is in charge of the books was organizing, I told them they wouldn't buy. I mean, I have been to many camps. I know they don't buy books and through we carried in our school play overweight we were paying here. This is where we're going to read the books there. Act of Shepherd in new books, anything. Might we just pack it back, return. It's wonderful unless you dash everybody get one free. So brothers and sisters, it's time for us to bear fruit. It shows in our lives and that is why, as softly confessed, we will look at your attendance, we will look at what you do. We'll ask you questions and we will address it just as it should be done with the roads and the hospitals and the things in this country. We'll address and see that it is not. The roads are not being covered with tar and you are the minister, but by now you should be out of office. We will. I said we will, We will. We'll look at attendance. We will look at what you are saying, what you are preaching. We whoa, we must judgment is very important to establish this work that we are doing. How many agree with what I'm talking about? Ask your neighbor. Are you a disciple or you are just a mistakenly a Papp student? Are you a Papp student or you are are you a disciple? Are you trained or called? We are ending. #4 I'm ending all those who have to go out. Just wait. I'm ending and we all work out together so that you'll be blessed going. If you do not obey the purpose that you have received, the Lord will come to you as a thief who takes away what you value. If the Bible is saying, remember, therefore, what thou has received, and repent if you do not. I will come as a thief. If you do not obey the purpose for this word and ministry that we have received, God will come as a thief and take away. If you #5 if you do not obey the purpose for what God has given to us, the God is going to come to you as a thief and destroy. Because I told you, a thief comes to kill. He comes to steal and he comes to destroy. And the last point is, if you do not obey the purpose for which we have received all these books and words and what have used, God is going to come to us to destroy our lives, to kill us, to destroy our lives. Mercy. So, brothers and sisters, I'm going to end with that. We continue on the what it means to be a disciple later on in the evening, the last session of the camp. Do we? Are we continuing tomorrow as well? What time does the camp end? Morning tomorrow morning, OK tomorrow. Wear your suits and Cam shuffling continues. There was silence in heaven. How many want God to destroy what he has given to us? He says if you don't remember what you are busy, I will come to you as a thief. What does a thief come to do? Still to kill and to destroy mercy just because you had a machinae but you didn't enjoy and listen to what you have. Father, thank you for a great privilege that we have received at this camp. What a blessing, what an honor in Jesus name, Amen. Take out your healing. Jesus offer crusade. Offering offer crusade. Let me pray over it quickly, please. Yesterday's offering was very small. I was not happy with it. Not that I've counted it. I don't know if they've counted it, but what I saw in the basket, I felt sad Sunday morning. You have a lot of points now. Is that not what you wanted? Lift it up, show your show your offering to your neighbor and say look at what I'm giving for the crusade. Show it to look at what I'm giving. Father, we thank you as we present this offering in Jesus name. Amen. Ashes receive the offering. Walking to church on a Sunday morning, walking and hearing the church bells ring, seeing the folks who mean everything to us praising the Lord as we've loudly been Saints.
