Is it comparison? fear? shame? - It's time to SEEK GOD and ask him to REMOVE those VISION BARRIERS. In Matthew 11:20-22 there is a woman with the issue of blood. She had to CHANGE THE VOICE IN HER OWN HEAD to get to the WHOLENESS and HEALING that GOD HAD FOR HER. Before she decided to pursue Jesus she kept saying “I’m dying," until she met JESUS. He changed the story in her life and the story she told herself. SHE SAID IF I GET JESUS I WILL GET WHOLE. - THE VISION MUST BECOME VOICE ACTIVATED - SAY IT REPEATEDLY - because when you’re changing your life you have to say it over and over. CLEAR FOCUS. CLEAR VISION. CLEAR FAITH. 2020. - They say it takes 21 days to CHANGE your life, to change your story. - It takes 21 days of REPETITIVE CONFESSION to CHANGE AN INNER NARRATIVE. - In every crisis lies opportunity for those who dare to rise and own the moment. (NEHEMIAH 1:1-4) - PRAYER & FASTING birthed the COURAGE, the VISION, and the DETERMINATION to REBUILD and RELAUNCH ISRAEL to experience VICTORY again. - Nothing happens until you get desperate! Nehemiah's PRAYER and FASTING resulted in: - CLEAR & PRECISE DIRECTION from GOD - FAVOR with his BOSS and CO-WORKERS - WISDOM to LEAD well - INNER STRENGTH and OUTTER STRENGTH for his job - DISCERNMENT on who to trust and empower - LASER-LIKE FOCUS to see the job through - VICTORY in the PURPOSE GOD had called him to accomplish PRAYER & FASTING: - CLEARS THE SPIRITUAL, MENTAL, & EMOTIONAL FOG - HELPS YOU RESPOND with DIVINE GUIDANCE & not just REACT in your own understanding - BRINGS FOCUS to WHAT REALLY MATTERS - HELPS YOU RELEASE UNNECESSARY BAGGAGE - PRODUCES COURAGE that GOD is WITH YOU, FOR YOU, & wants to show you FAVOR - STIRS A DEEPER HUNGER for what really SATISFIES YOUR SOUL - BRINGS you to a DESPERATION for GOD’S WILL to be DONE in your life - Insists that we quiet our hearts and wait, slowing us down to receive from God - INFUSES GOD’S VISION IN US and enables us TO SEE WHAT GOD WANTS US TO DO - INITIATES the VISION’s FULFILLMENT acting as a CATALYST for our FAITH - CONNECTS US TO GOD - PRAYER is the SECRET WEAPON against discouragement, against fear, shame, etc. - PRIVATE PRAYER produces PUBLIC POWER - FASTING DISCONNECTS us from the WORLD What is the 2020 VICTORY you NEED? Matthew 17:14-21 1. UNBELIEVING - not connected to God. 2. PERVERSE- too connected to the WORLD. the cure is--- PRAYER and FASTING 1. PRAYER CONNECTS US TO GOD 2.
