If it's robbing you of the life, love, joy, peace, health, and victory that God's called you to walk in-- then it's time to say I'M DONE. 1 Peter 4:1-2 –NIV--- “BE DONE WITH SIN” /// COLOSSIANS 3:3, 5-8 msg -- PUT TO DEATH every sinful toxic thing of your past that's still clinging to your new life in Christ. SOME OF us have become ACCUSTOMED to DYSFUNCTION-- so we have a hard time being DONE with what GOD's called us to be done with. YOU CAN’T EMBRACE your DESTINY if you’re STILL HOLDING on to your HISTORY. I’M DONE with IDOLIZING the PAST. I’M DONE with IDOLIZING a FLAWLESS FUTURE--- I’M DONE with BEING LAZY. i’M DONE with LETTING my PERSONALITY trump MY PURPOSE. I’M DONE with SLEEPING IN when I SHOULD BE WAKING UP and WORKING HARD on WHAT GOD’S CALLED ME TO DO… --WHAT’s HOLDING YOU BACK from the LIFE of VICTORY that GOD HAS CALLED you to?---depression---laziness—fear---unhealthy friendships---unhealthy lifestyle---sadness---comparison---shame---regret---self-hatred—constant anger----constant worry---insecurity---approval addiction--- so let’s start breaking up with some of those things today…  I’M DONE FINDING my WORTH from the WRONG SOURCE---- FIND your FOOD---feed on what actually gives LIFE----stop consuming CHEAP FOOD--- Proverbs 26:22 ---Listening to gossip is like eating cheap candy; do you want junk like that in your belly? --- MATTHEW 4:4 /// JOHN 4:29-35 – JESUS said MY FOOD is DOING HIS WILL--- not even reading the word, or seeing people respond to it—but simply just obeying God---sowing the seed… 1 Cor. 3:2 --- God’s WORD is the MEAT we need to EAT… FEED on the MEAT… what are you feeding on? ---what feeds you? WHAT makes you FEEL ALIVE? What MAKES you FEEL LOVED? What encourages you to KEEP doing what you do? What food source have you been relying on, going to, looking for that isn’t really working??? Feed on a consistent source — feed on your obedience instead of their response — Feed on your actions of faith rather than their affirmation or acknowledgement of your hard work... feed on what GOD SAYS, not what THEY SAY---find nourishment in HIS WORD---what are you CONSUMING--- if you are not happy with where your life is at---CHECK YOUR CONSUMPTION---are you consuming the wrong stuff??? Junk food--- likes, approval ratings, reactions of people, money, promotions, bonuses, etc---CHEAP FOOD---CHEAP CANDY—it’s FAST FOOD---not everything that’s fast is healthy or good for you, oftentimes the longer it takes to get it, the better it is for you – the more it nourishes you in the right way---the more it costs you oftentimes is because it will feed you better… ---I’M DONE LETTING THE ENEMY CONTROL THE INNER-ME-----RECLAIM YOUR IMAGINATION---- TAKE BACK your most valuable asset---tell the devil to GET HIS HANDS off GOD’S PROPERTY----YOUR MIND---take back what used to be fun, playful, excited, exuberant, that used to just be so CREATIVE and WILD—that child-like faith—but now it’s become so STRESSED, ANXIOUS, ANGRY, CONFLICTED, TORMENTED---get your CREATIVITY BACK.John 16:22--- no one can steal the JOY GOD GIVES you. JOY is an inside job--- it’s in my mind and heart--- so I’m Done with letting the enemy ROB me of the JOY of the PRESENT, the JOY of today! PSALM 42:11 – why be downcast oh my soul…put hope back in God… --I’M DONE letting DISTRACTIONS cause me to miss the PRESENT-----This is the day the Lord has made- Psalms 118:24----THIS IS IT----LIVE HERE and NOW- -- 1 Corinthians 7:17 (MSG)17 And don’t be wishing you were someplace else or with someone else. Where you are right now is God’s place for you.
