- Prayer Part 2 || Prayer of Petition
Jul 26, 2026 • 1h 3m
isaiah 43:25-28 You prepare yourself through worship before you make intercession. Because in intercession you put yourself in the gap. In the prayer of petition you argue your case before the court of heaven and bring forth the strong reason. Jesus came to fulfil the law. The condition you fulfil is the victory you win. You argue your case by the word of the Lord and what He says. The prayer of petition is the prayer that changes mandates. Is there a curse, you can change it. But you cannot change it without knowing the word of God. Angels run the errands of God according to what’s designed. God sustains all spirits both good and bad. Angels and spirits run errands. When the presence of God is withdrawn from a man, the spirit of iniquity hits him. There are times where you need to pray then you’ll argue your case before God. We dont need an angel to argue our case now because we have the word of God in us. But we speak and confess it and we’re delivered. We have the right to liberate because He has brought us into a place of sonship. When you begin to speak from the word of God and argue your case, that is a prayer of petition. The prayer of petition is one where you present your strong reason and pray from the word of God. In Hezekiah’s case, God had declared judgement but hezekiah petitioned to God and the judgement was overturned. When you close your mouth and dont pray, you have accepted the judgement. The prayer you pray about every condition that is unpleasant is the prayer of petition. You can only honour God by giving Him reasonable services. Take it as your responsibility to provide for the house of God. Make sure there’s meat in the house of God. You look at the beggar and feed him cuz it’s the responsibility of your Father. If you have the privilege of providing succour for somebody, you’re doing the work of the Father. You cancel whatever principalities have done by making sure your obedience is complete. Your service to God must be religious to you. He that gives to the poor is lending to God. Put the poor in your plan. In the prayer of petition you must stand upon the strength of God and declare what He’s done. A man that prays is a man that receives. Changes dont respond to emotions but the word of God in your life. The word of God is near you. If you shall speak the word of God, if you shall confess what He says, you shall be saved. You speak what happens. Your deliverance and liberty is commanded by your mouth.

- Living Safe and Stable
Jul 19, 2026 • 54 min
*TEXT:* Eph. 4:26-27; Jas 1:19-20; Prov. 14:17 It's possible to live safe forever by Zoe - the life of God in you. Of your own, you could do nothing, but you received the ability to do all things from the moment Christ began to live in you at new birth. Where there was no glory, the Light of God created the glorious life of God in you. Now, there is hope for glory over life and all its affairs: emotional, spiritual, social and economic activities of life. They are given into your hands to control, because Christ lives in you. *DEALING WITH UNHAPPINESS* SADNESS is the absence of joy in a life. It's often occasioned by anger or bitterness that results in induced heaviness of heart. Sadness is an emotional issue that results from prolonged anger. So, if you check anger, you check sadness. Fundamentally, anger is a natural emotion and is not sinful. * It is the landmark for every personality boundary. * It controls the traffik on the subway of your heart. * It indicates the much you can take from external factors and persons. * It distinguishes your personality and defines who you really are. * It is positive by nature. Anger is naturally beautiful and human. But, excess anger is nasty and ballistic. The hastiness in it draws from underlying emotional distortion of personal judgements. The ballistic side of anger is called WRATH or QUICK ANGER and, the protracted state of anger is called BITTERNESS or HEAVINESS OF HEART. *EMOTIONAL CONTROL* Research suggests that emotions have a significant influence over human behavior. Statistically: - *Daniel Kahneman,* a psychologist and economist said emotions influence around 80% of our decisions, often unconsciously. (Source: "Thinking, Fast and Slow") - A study titled "The Role of Emotions in Decision Making", published in the Journal of Economic Psychology found that emotions account for approximately 70% of the factors that drive human decision-making. - Another study titled *"The Emotional Brain and Decision Making"*, published in the journal " *Neuron* " estimated that emotions influence around 60% of our actions, with the remaining 40% driven by rational thinking. Keep in mind that these figures are approximate and can vary depending on individual circumstances, cultural context, and personal characteristics. It's clear, however, that emotions play a substantial role in shaping human behavior, often beneath our conscious awareness. *SCRIPTURAL RESEARCH* Biblical examples prove that men relapse into their greatest mistakes when overtaken by emotional distresses. So, emotions thwart reason, in scripture. *ALLOW THE ANOINTING* The Anointing of God in human flesh is called Christ. It activates your mind and will to rule over your emotions and feelings by divine insights from God's Word. The only way to rule over your emotions and stabilize in life is to be led by the Spirit of God. You have this grace as a believer.
